Beschreibung
We are Jos and Alice and have lived for 25 years in the province Friesland after living 10 years abroad. Our daughter (30)lives in Los Angeles. Our son lives also in Appelscha . We both work parttime as a teacher and Healthcare manager. We love traveling and meet new people. Around our new house we have an ecological garden, which needs yearly maintenance like Möring and haymaking. With nice weather we can do several jobs outside. We live in a beautiful area suitable for running, walking, bicycling, photographing and other nature relate activities. Whatever you like to do, we are happy to help you to discover our area and other people.

We live in Appelscha , Friesland, the Northern part with lakes and Woods. It is a turistic centre , which is an excellent base for bicycling tours ( bicycling available) walking. It is about 1 hour 30 minutes driving to Amsterdam. You can also for beautiful day trips to the 'wadden- islands'

We appreciatie your help with gardening. We also have some chicken, ducks and a labrador ‘Lola’ who is very happy to be fed.

The first week we have a double room with an own bathroom in our familyhouse. If we have availibility after this week you might stay in our comfortable guesthouse in the backyard. Very suitable for couples!!!!
