Leonore gives 100% to everything she does, and we have no doubt that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. She did more than we expected and we’re super grateful for her help. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any future hosts. She will be a valuable addition to any project or team!

All the best for you guys, cheers!
I had the absolute pleasure of staying with Jarrah, Ada, Leia and Lenox in their beautiful Daintree house and had such a wonderful time. I could sadly only stay for approximately 2 weeks as I had plans for my future travel in Australia, but it was for sure 2 weeks very well spent as I got to help out Ada with painting her railings, moved some

Ada is such a lovely and overbearing mother and made it her mission for me to experience the beautiful area and I can truly say that staying here was so much more than I dared hope for. I spent a night at Kaths (Jarrahs mother) and helped her clean her kitchen. what a wonderful woman she is.
I also got to meet - most of - Jerrahs amazing family at taco Tuesday and have never felt so local as when I was brought to their family BBQ on Australia Day.
I cannot express enough how I wish the very best for this family and all of their projects, so if you're wondering if you should go and pay Ada and Jarrah (and the kids) a visit, help them out for a little bit then I would definitely recommend going as you will not regret it❤️
Cheers
We had such a wonderful time hosting Cecilie and truly hope our paths cross again! She was an absolute pleasure to have around, and we’d welcome her back anytime.

We highly recommend Cecilie to any future hosts.
We absolutely loved our stay with Ada, Jarrah and the kids. We stayed with Ada and Jarrah for 2,5 weeks and had the best time! We had a great first impression because we got picked up from Cairns which is still a bit of a drive. We were openly welcomed to the house and immediately settled in. The property is gorgeous and has so much potential for the future.

On our time off they made sure we had the best time. We visited Port Douglas, went to Wonga Beach, swam in a creek and went on a crocodile cruise. We couldn't have asked for a better time in the Daintree Forest.
We definitely recommend helping out Ada and Jarrah because they have a beautiful and unique home that can use a bit of work.
Someday we'll be back to see the finished product. Good luck!
Nynke & Lucy
Lucy and Nynke stayed with us for two weeks, and they were a fantastic help! They are kind, easygoing, and relaxed, making them a pleasure to have around. During their stay, our main task was sanding back a verandah railing using power sanders—a big job! Despite not having much prior experience, they quickly got the hang of it and tackled the work

I apologize for the delay in leaving this review.

They took me to the ocean, let me swim in the creek, took me on a boat ride, and brought me to the Discovery Center—offering so many exciting activities.

If I have the chance to visit again, I look forward to enjoying the vegetables from their garden.Vom Host für Workawayer (Hiroki)
Hiroki was a pleasure to host! He was respectful, honest and hardworking. All together Nils was a great help and we would have him back any time! All the best for your next travels Nils and trevlig resa! ❤️
I stayed with Ada and Jarrah for just over 2 weeks and it was a bonza experience! Immediately i felt part of the whole family and comfortable, Leia the baby was a bit shy at first but we became great friends and i found myself jouking little rugby tackles of joy, Lenox the infant was adorable and it was so amazing to see how much he was growing in

It was really wonderful being part of the everyday life and project which Ada and Jarrah are working on, evolving their family home! Their visions and dreams are inspiring to listen to, ex extending the fruit orchard, making garden beds to begin harvesting their own food.. the work otherwise was varied, sometimes interrupted by the rain, and sometimes on the fly. I'm sure after being their first Workawayer there will be more structure to the role at the house :)
On days off there would always be things to do in the beatiful jungle and very often they would come up with fun activities like fishing/boating/crocodile cruising/Port Douglas market visit/beach/BBQ it was all good fun and a good representation of life in the Daintree!
Thank you so incredibly much again Ada, Jarrah, Leia, Lenox, and Bella
All the best and luck
