We are a family of four: daddy Enrico, mummy Barbara, Matteo 11 and Emma (will turn 8 in July). We love long walks and hiking in our mountains .
We live in Borriana, a small but lively village lying by the beautiful Serra Hills, between Turin and Milan in Northern Italy. It is a very good place to stay if you love hiking, running or cycling or if you simply enjoy long walks, but we are a few minutes by car from the main town Biella, where you can find main facilities. You can use our bycicle while you are here :)

We are focused on improving our children's knowledge of English. I've been speaking English to them from their birth and they can understand it at a good level, and Matteo is now quite fluent while Emma needs a boost on speaking her second langage :D! We would like to host a native English speaker that could play and communicate with our children in English exclusively.

UPDATE!!!!! KIDS WOULD LOVE TO START LEARNING FRENCH OR SPANISH SO IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THOSE AS YOUR SECOND LANGUAGE THAT WOULD BE A PLUS!!!

The Biellese area is well known among outdoors activities lovers, and here you might try some unusual activities from gold panning in rivers with a local association to hang gliding or bungee jumping from the Colossus bridge (152 m). We are very close to Val d'Aosta and Mount Blanche and Mount Rose. Those who are interested to history will love visiting the Ricetto di Candelo, a very well preserved medieval hamlet and the mining archeological sites in Valsessera. All these sites can be reached by coach and we will be more than happy to help you to find the best connections.
IF YOU'RE STILL READING OUR PROFILE AT THIS POINT, PLEASE CONSIDER THAT
despite we live in a small village we already had exchange students, aupairs and workawayers at home and everytime someone comes we enlarge our "network" of opportunities and activities that we can offer in the surroundings or by travelling ...We keep in touch with all our guests and we are proud to say that our family is now getting pretty big and international!!
Come and take part to it , we can't wait to meet you :)
