  Happy to host you in beautiful Austria (Klagenfurt Wörther See)! 🇦🇹
  
  We are happy to host someone from mid-September onwards.
  
  We are Philipp and Elly, a young family living in beautiful Klagenfurt, Carinthia, in southern Austria. We have just moved into our new house with a garden, surrounded by beautiful nature, with forests, walking trails, mountains and lakes all around us.
  
  Klagenfurt is a wonderful place to live: you can enjoy the charming old town, cafés, restaurants and events, while being just minutes away from Lake Wörthersee and surrounded by stunning nature and mountains. And if you like exploring, Slovenia and Italy are just a short trip away — perfect for weekend adventures!
  
  We have two little boys, 16 months old and 1 month old, and are now looking for a warm, reliable and calm person who would enjoy becoming part of our family life and helping us make our everyday life a little easier.
  
  The support can be varied and should fit naturally into our family life: cooking, household chores, tidying up, preparing meals or simply taking a few things off our plate when family life gets busy. We are not looking for a housekeeper, but for someone who enjoys being part of a family and is happy to lend a hand wherever needed.
  
  Travel and discovering the world have always been a big part of our lives. Both Philipp and Elly are passionate travellers and have spent a lot of time exploring different parts of the world. We have both had our own Work & Travel experiences, met wonderful people, discovered different cultures and collected many unforgettable memories along the way.
  
  Elly herself spent a year travelling around the world, living with local people and helping out in exchange for accommodation and the chance to experience everyday life in different countries. It was an incredibly special experience for her, and we would now love to give something of that experience back by opening our home to someone else.
  
  Philipp is an entrepreneur and inventor and loves exchanging ideas, discussing new projects and thinking about how to make the world a little better. If you have your own ideas or dreams, he will probably be happy to hear about them — and may even have some useful advice!
  
  Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is open-minded, kind, responsible, positive and enjoys spending time with children and being part of a family. In return, we hope to offer you a welcoming home, plenty of privacy, the opportunity to experience Austrian family life and a beautiful base from which to explore Austria, Slovenia and Italy.

  We are a friendly family living in Klagenfurt (Carinthia), and we love meeting people from different cultures. We’re looking forward to sharing our home and daily life with open-minded travelers who are interested in cultural exchange.
  
  We will eat together and share experiences around the world with each others. As we have a newborn and a toddler we are limited in activities currently but we will spend meals together where we will tell you more about the Austrian way of life, and happy to give you loads of tips :)
  Klagenfurt is a small 100k city with amazing landscape and cultural offerings. You wont get bored.

  Why we host:
  We’re not looking for workers — we’re excited to meet new people, learn about your culture, and share ours. Hosting is a way for us to connect with the world, even while staying at home. We hope to learn new recipes, stories, and ways of life from you — and maybe you’ll take some of Austria back with you!
