** We are looking for multiple Workawayers to help us in this two periods: first two weeks of April or/and from the 27th of May until the end of June 2024. Contact us! **
Would you like to help inside a typical Tuscan countryside farm? You are highly welcome!
You will have the opportunity to help my husband Armando and my two children, Giada and Carlo, in the daily work of our small farm near Florence. We have a small vineyard and olive trees that produce wine and olive oil. We also make hay, vegetables and chickpeas. There is a lot of physical work to do on the farm such as pruning, weeding, gardening, harvesting and general maintenance.
We all speak Italian and German very well, and we all speak a good English.
Our house is located in the Upper Arno Valley, between Florence and Arezzo only a few km from the nearest town. The place is really nice and not crowded at all. Florence can be reached by a 30 min drive and there is also public transportation like trains to Florence, Arezzo and Siena.
We are looking for people who can stay at least one week, but two weeks is the recommended period if you want to learn some Italian, some techniques and a lot more from our farm life.Arten von Hilfe und Lernmöglichkeiten

We live in a very nice valley between Florence and Arezzo so there are endless possibilities for exploring this wonderful part of Tuscany.Arbeit
As you may know in a farm there's always something to do. Such as: pruning, weeding, gardening, harvesting and general maintenance. In the summer days can get hot so we will try to adapt to the heat but some works need to be done anyway so keep that in mind.
We expect the workawayers to help maximum 25 hours a week (five hours for five days).Gesprochene Sprachen

At first he helped us picking grapes in our Chianti vineyard. He was always interested in what we were doing, asking questions and learning something new about wine making.
After that, we were pruning olive trees, cutting trees and blackberries, which was… read more
