  Hello, my name is Viviane and I moved to Central Brittany in July 2021, to a beautiful home in the country with a large garden (7000m2). I'm a therapist and used to run wellbeing retreats in the UK. I have moved to a house with beautiful grounds. Eventually, I would like to run retreats here and also host residential courses run by other people. I aim to make this property as self-sustainable as possible.
  I love receiving WorkAwayers and will be delighted to welcome you here in exchange for some help. It's best if you already have knowledge of gardening/permaculture, as I don't, so wouldn't be able to guide you. You will have your own en suite room with beautiful views of the garden and country landscape. I look forward to meeting you!

  Arbeit

  Depending on the season, I may need help with the garden and vegetable patch. There are some tasks that also need doing, and I always appreciate help around the house. This summer, the main house wooden window frames need sanding and painting on the exterior to weather-proof them. There are 4 windows on the ground floor, 6 on the first floor and 2 on the second floor, so it would be good to have a couple or more people to work on that project in a short time to take advantage of (hopefully!) good weather.

  Unterkunft

  I live in a large house which was set up as a bed and breakfast, with each room having its own suite. You will be in a large room under the eaves in the main house on the first floor with lovely views of the countryside and its own bathroom, or in a room on the second floor in the main part with lovely views of the gardens, depending on how many people are here. The beds are comfortable. We can all eat together, it's always nice to share meals. I offer an evening cooked meal every day, help yourself to breakfast, and I leave food for you in the fridge for lunches (cheese, cold meats, bread, yogurt, fruit etc.)

  Where I live in Brittany is extremely quiet and close to woods with multiple excursion paths if you like walking or cycling . It's about 2kms from the commune it belongs to which has a bakery, convenience store, cafe, restaurant, chemist, post office etc. I am well situated for tourist attractions and places of natural beauty, though these do require a car to visit.
