    Beschreibung

I'm a 29 years old organic Maasai farmer and eco hostel owner in Arusha. I live in a beautiful home in a village near Arusha town.

My vision is to live a full, meaningful, and thriving life. I stay inspired and empowered by connecting with others, using my character strengths, and following my passions. Love, kindness, and compassion are what are important in life. The rest is commentary.
I run an eco hostel at my farm in the grounds of a banana farm using biogas, compost bins and water sewage for gardening.

I started running it as a home stay back in 2017 to let visitors experience the Tanzanian lifestyle and give something back to the community I live in. Over the years I employed more and more people from our beautiful village of Ambureni to work with me.
My farm extends all the way down to the river where one can have access to do hikes and take in the beautiful views of the river valley and Mount Meru. I plant bananas (9 types), coffee, fruit trees (avocado, guava, papaya, mango, and passion fruit) and loats of vegetables like chayote. All is organically grown.
I also keep cows for milk, butter, cheese and for biogas making using manure and urine of the cow. I use biogas for cooking and still trying to find a way to start using it for light.
We have an open kitchen with fridge, oven/grill, gas cooker and microwave for all guests to use. .
You can make your own coffee at our kitchen anytime using our fresh coffee from my farm.
While staying at the farm my staff can also teach you how to make Tanzanian dishes such as Matoke/Machalari (staple food made from plantain bananas), Ugali, Chapati, Pilau and many other more.
Several activities can be done at the hostel such as coffee farm tour, banana farm tour, river tour to learn about local herbs and also waterfall hikes.
Around the area there is Lake duluti where one can go for nature walks or canoeing,a hotspring and several other attractions.
