  I'm looking for friendly exchanges with people from all over the world to learn and help me make small improvements to a beautiful old village house, my garden, or to build with Lego. The house is a 40-minute train ride from Paris; if you enjoy nature, there's a park and a forest nearby, as well as a magnificent castle.

  Nearby, you can explore the Chamarande Departmental Estate, as well as the charming towns of Étampes and Dourdan. And if you'd like to visit the capital, Paris and its museums are just a 40-minute RER train ride away. I enjoy good food, discovering new restaurants, traveling, ecology, nature, DIY projects, photography, Lego, theater, and movie or TV series nights. For the past 15 years, I've been hosting travelers from all over the world, having welcomed over 200 people to date. For me, it's a wonderful way to forge lasting friendships, discover other cultures, and keep an open mind.

  Cela fait maintenant 15 ans que j'accueille des voyageurs du monde entier, avec plus de 200 personnes reçues à ce jour. Pour moi, c'est une formidable façon de créer de belles amitiés, de découvrir d'autres cultures et de garder l'esprit ouvert.

  Arbeit

  Activities vary depending on interests and needs:
  Participation in various small home improvement projects;
  Gardening: caring for green spaces and the vegetable garden;
  Lego: sorting and organising the pieces.
  
  Depending on the time, we can do tasks together or separately. And for quieter tasks, like sorting Lego, we can easily do them while watching a movie or series in a relaxed atmosphere. 😊

  Les activités sont variées selon les envies et les besoins :
  Participation à différents petits travaux d'amélioration de la maison
  Jardinage : entretien des espaces verts et du potager
  Lego : tri et organisation des pièces
  
  Selon les moments, nous pourrons travailler ensemble ou chacun de notre côté. Et pour les tâches plus tranquilles, comme le tri des Lego, on peut tout à fait les faire devant un film ou une série dans une ambiance détendue. 😊

  Unterkunft

  You will have a single bed in a separate room, with clean sheets, a towel, soap, and shampoo. Regarding meals, I am vegetarian and usually cook and share meals with my guests. Of course, if you prefer to prepare your own meals, that's perfectly fine. There's always room in the refrigerator for your groceries. However, I would prefer that you don't bring meat, cold cuts, or fish to the house. I particularly enjoy cooking and eating together in a friendly atmosphere.

  Vous disposerez d'un lit simple dans une pièce séparée, avec des draps propres, une serviette, ainsi que du savon et du shampoing.
  Concernant les repas, je suis végétarien et j'ai l'habitude de cuisiner et de partager les repas avec mes invités. Bien sûr, si vous préférez préparer vos propres repas, c'est tout à fait possible. Il y a toujours de la place dans le réfrigérateur pour vos courses.
  En revanche, je préfère que l'on n'apporte pas de viande, de charcuterie ou de poisson à la maison.
  J'apprécie particulièrement les moments où l'on cuisine et mange ensemble, dans une ambiance conviviale.
