  **Workaway Host – Autumn in the Dordogne, France**
  
  We are looking for one or two friendly, practical helpers to join us this October at our country property near **Sarlat**, in the beautiful Dordogne region of southwest France.
  
  This is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills and spending time in the French countryside.
  
  In return you'll stay in comfortable accommodation on a peaceful rural property with plenty of time to explore the local villages, markets, castles and countryside.
  
  We're looking for people who:
  
  * Enjoy practical outdoor work.
  * Are reliable and happy to work independently.
  * Appreciate good food, conversation and a relaxed atmosphere.
  * Speak reasonable English (French is a bonus but not essential).

  They will live in a French Village, close to a beautiful tow called Sarlat La Caneda we are a cruisy family and have awesome grounds.

  Typical tasks include:
  
  * Splitting and stacking firewood.
  * Light gardening and property maintenance.
  * Preparing the property for the following season.
  * Helping with simple DIY projects.
  * Occasional cooking or shared meals.
