  Hello and welcome to our page!
  
  We are a young collective that settled in the Aveyron region of France in December 2022. There are six adults living here, a two-and-a-half-year-old child, and a baby due in October. We have a wide range of skills and trades: glassmaking, market gardening, plastering, music, filmmaking, animation, all kinds of DIY projects, and gardening.
  
  On 18 hectares of land (woods, buildings, meadows, rivers, ponds, etc.), we have nearly 300 walnut trees! Every year in October, we harvest the walnuts. In September, we prepare for the harvest, and the walnuts fall for three weeks during October. That's when we start looking for people to help the association 🙂 The main tasks are collecting the walnuts (they fall every day), sorting them on a sorting bench, cleaning them, and then we haul everything back to the hamlet by tractor to dry them on racks!
  
  You'll be staying in a brand new dormitory with a mezzanine. There are six beds upstairs and a lounge on the ground floor. So you'll need to be comfortable sleeping in a dormitory.
  
  The food is mainly vegetarian, although only two or three of us are completely vegetarian, we don't buy factory-farmed meat through the collective.
  
  A river (the Mousse) runs through our land, offering a place to cool off in the summer. We have two springs, one of which flows year-round. There is a lake in the village above us and a lovely river swimming spot in the village below. Local amenities include a post office, a pharmacy, a tobacconist, and even a small supermarket! We can also lend out bikes 🙂

  Nous sommes un jeune collectif qui s'est installé dans l'Aveyron depuis décembre 2022. Nous sommes 6 adultes à vivre sur le lieu, une enfant de 2 ans et demi et 1 bébé a venir en octobre. Il y a de nombreux corps de métiers et compétences : verrerie, maraichage, enduit, musique, cinéma, animation, bricolage en tout genre et jardin.
  
  Sur 18 hectares de terrains (bois, bâtis, prairies, rivières, mares...), nous avons près de 300 noyers ! Chaque année, en octobre, nous faisons la récolte des noix. En septembre, nous préparons la récolte et les noix tombent pendant 3 semaines durant le mois d'octobre. C'est à ce moment là que nous cherchons du monde pour aider l'association 🙂 Les tâches principales sont le ramassage des noix (elles tombent tous les jours), le tri sur banc de tri, nettoyage des noix et hop on ramène tout ça au hameau en tracteur pour faire sécher les noix dans les claies! Que l'on vend sur les marchés à titre associatif.
  
  Tu seras accueilli dans un dortoir tout neuf avec mezzanine. Il y a 6 couchages à l'étage et un salon au rez de chaussé. Il faudra donc que tu sois ok avec le fait de dormir en dortoir.
  
  La nourriture est principalement végétarienne, même si on est que 2 ou 3 à être totalement végétarien, on achète pas de viande industrielle via le collectif.
  
  Le mousse (un ruisseau) traverse notre terrain où l'on peut se rafraichir pendant l'été. Nous avons 2 sources dont une qui coule toute l'année. Il y a un lac dans le village au dessus de chez nous, et un bel espace rivière baignade dans l'autre village au dessous. Il y a une poste, une pharmacie, un bureau de tabac et même un petit supermarché ! On peut aussi prêter des vélos 🙂
