  Hi,
  
  We are Annika and Bill and we are running a retreat center in the South-West of France. Annika runs the business, Bill is a professional coach who works online, but he also is the “maintenance and fix-it guy”. Our retreat center is open to yoga groups, painting retreats, writing retreats and many other types of retreats.
  
  We are looking for seasonal help during retreats for general tasks like cleaning up before and after meals , grocery shopping, garden work and occasional manual work too. It would be preferable if you have a drivers licence (knowing how to drive manual) as we can need help with transportation and getting the groceries.
  
  We appreciate people who have some hospitality experience and who like living close to nature. It’s great if you like taking initiatives and have experience with some garden work too.
  
  We have a pool and a sauna, so you are welcome to use those as well. We also have bikes you can use and lots of trails to walk on.
  
  You would get comfortable lodging and 3 meals per day while you are living and working here. You would have your own room. You will get paid minimum wage as per french standards. You need to have a European passport or visa that allows you to work in France.
  
  It’s important that you are not afraid of dogs as our Pako is present in our house and occasionally outside on the property. We also have chickens that need feeding.
  
  Before hiring, we will have an online interview so we can explain everything before we make the contract.

  Annika speaks English, Swedish, French and a bit of German. Bill speaks all those (except German) and also Spanish. We are happy to help you to practice your French while you’re here in France, if you like. You would be working mostly with Annika, who is the general manager of our retreat center. Our chefs who prepare the amazing vegetarian meals for the retreat groups speak French too. The local village is one of the most beautiful in France. It is quite international, but obviously, you can practice your French there too.

  We run international retreats and we are an international host family, having lived in over 5 countries. We speak English, French, Swedish and Spanish fluently and we would love to help you practice any one of these languages. Our staff speak fluent French and can help you with language immersion, and the local community is eager to help with this as well.

  We are located in the countryside, about 5 Km from beautiful, medieval village Saint Antonin Noble Val. There are lots of outdoor activities to do around here like canoeing on river, hiking, rock climbing and such. We have bicycles you can borrow.

  We have good internet connection on the property but our wifi is only in and near our own house, not in the other houses not where a worker would live. So a digital nomad would need to have their own internet mobile package (hotspot from phone, for example). You can, if the weather permits, sit outside on a bench or lounge chair close to our house and use our wifi.

  Our dog is a rescue dog who loves people, but he is a shepherd, a protector and he’s big so can be quite impressive. He is loveable. However, separations are difficult for him, so we always ask people to first meet him while we are there, since we know him best.
