Hello there friends,
My name is Elizabeth. I am a young retiree who has been a workawayer for some years now. I love travelling, meeting people, exchanging cultural views, languages and other ways of life. My cultural origin is naturally interestingly mixed so I am using the opportunity to build on this by joining workawayer in order to enhance the global feel.
My hosting project is more or less a handy man's domain. This mainly evolves DIY around a house in SW of France. as follows -
garden maintenance, grounds works/ installation and putting up a garden shed.....( I call this my little building projet) painting (exterior/interior) fixing cracks in garden walls and general garden update.
A sound knowledge in garden design and all round DIY genius is very much welcome. You will need your own car. The house is situated about 5 minutes drive to a smallish but historic town with all amenities..... shops, trains, 3 surrounding airports etc. The atlantic coast is only 35 minutes away. Very nice country side for cycling, walking, for the sportives.

I speak English and French fluently. I also have basic knowlege of Italian of which I am willing to improve by exchanging English or French with the interested party. Ways of cooking could be another interesting curb to explore.

-- Depending on time of stay, own bed/lounge in a converted area, all other amenities like kitchen bath and toilet will be shared;
-- 2nd choice is a self contained area with all amenities but this depends on time of stay.

You will need your own car. Very nice country side for cycling, walking, for the sportives.
I am quite orderly and organised around me so would expect my guests to bear this in mind and be as accommodating as I would be to them. My anthem is - let us do unto others what we would like them to do to us.
I am a non smoker. I do not have any domestic pets either.
