Dear Bente Cecilie!
When you say "stroke of luck," I can only return the sentiment. It was an absolutely marvelous time in my life, and I can say with certainty that you had a big, big part in that. Since this was my first Workaway stay "alone," I was really grateful for the immediate sense of feeling at home. I was welcomed so warmly and felt

Although the work was "tough" sometimes due to tight spaces, I enjoyed every second of it. And when you left the attic to go outside, the view would take your breath away. I want to thank you and everyone I had the chance to stay, work, and talk with from the bottom of my heart for that wonderful and peaceful time you gave me. See you next year!
Big hug,
Christina
It was a stroke of luck 🤩 to get Christina here to help with carpentry and ditch digging and much more. She has experience in restoring old houses, which was very useful in my old house in Vindstad. Christina tackled all sort of tasks optimistically, and among many other things, she did find and rescued sheep on the loose. She also helped my neighbor clean out a boathouse and a workshop basement among many other things. I am grateful to have made a new friend who has also grown fond of my place in a little paradise deep in a fjord far north 🥰 Thank you for good deep conversations and reflections on society and life in general and how we can deal with it, I learned a lot from you! Good luck with everything until we meet again♥️🥰♥️
I didn't have much experience with workaways, but I quickly realized how brilliant this cultural exchange can be when Michaela and Lukas came to help me with my plans in an old house. The time we spent together was very very pleasant and rich for me. I had extensive tasks carried out - and in addition, to my great joy, I also got to clean out the

We spent one week at Bente's place in August and it was amazing.
Bente is a gold hearted person. She really made us feel like home and showed us how much she appreciates our help. Our tasks were making a flooring in the attic, painting the house, helping with the drainage and cleaning out the basement. In the free time we were hiking, fishing,

Thank you one more time for this experience, Bente. Hope to see you again and sending you a big hug.♥
Vom Host für Workawayer (Leron & Hannah)
I was excited when I welcomed my first workaways, Leron and Hannah. It turned out to be a very good start as a host. They were friendly, eager and hardworking no matter what task they were given. I couldn't have gotten off to a better start and the experience made me a keen ambassador for the idea behind workaways. I made two new friends 🥰 - and
