This arrangement is an inner city music residency. I am looking for piano players who want to practice and/or record classical or jazz piano on the home keyboard here.
Other tasks include hand writing transcriptions onto computer, help with community garden, some meals preparation.
Welcome to the West Coast! People come here from all over the world to visit the scenic waterfront downtown, parks, and islands. The apartment is located on a bicycle path only 2.5 km from downtown Vancouver. The beautiful Britannia Recreation Centre (swimming pool, skating rink, library) is located across the street, and leads to the Commercial Drive area (coffee shops, parks) of Vancouver.
We would like to promote cycling and live music (jazz, Celtic, folk).

Guests can practice gardening.
Guests can use the house bicycles to explore downtown or the parks.
Guests can practice piano, and learn guitar, piano, or drums.
I'm asking guests to help 4 hours per day, including lunch break, for 5 days a week. Saturday, Sunday are free time (meals provided). We try to have fun, and I don't overwork anyone.

This one bedroom apartment has a single alcove, a very small area, with a single bed (additional mattress on the floor, if needed) and screens for privacy. The apartment has an outdoor patio and work space, living room, bathroom, kitchen, which you may share.
A small, friendly dog lives here too.

Vancouver is a world class city with parks and beautiful scenery. The waterfront is a 15 minute bicycle ride away on a dedicated bike route. The city has funky cafes, second hand shops, and recreation centres which need reservations to use. Many young people enjoy the arts scene in Vancouver.
