  Welcome to our place. We are Yuri and Sebastian living in two diferent towns: Valle Gran Rey and Alojera. We offer a country house in the "Guada" neighborhood (Valle Gran Rey), with nearby land where we grow avocados and other crops—all organic and pesticide-free. Learn natural farming methods with us, explore the island through hiking trails, and enjoy this place, its culture, and its cuisine. We have a private homestead we only produce for own consumption.

  We live in Lomo del Balo, in Valle Gran Rey, in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. My mother has a small avocado farm, and we are looking for people who would like to spend a few days with us, helping with farm tasks while enjoying an authentic island living experience.
  The farm is a simple yet special place—located a short distance from the house—where you can get a close-up look at working the land and everything involved in caring for and maintaining a small avocado grove.
  For us, Workaway isn't just about getting help; it’s about sharing our way of life and learning from the people who visit us. We can share insights into daily life, avocado farming, local customs, and what it’s like to live a slower-paced life connected to nature.
  In return, we’d love to learn about your home countries, cultures, languages, food, customs, and experiences. We enjoy learning from others and discovering new perspectives on life. We hope this exchange becomes an experience where everyone contributes something and takes away wonderful memories.
  Valle Gran Rey holds a special place in our hearts, boasting stunning landscapes, mountains, ravines, palm trees, and the ocean. It’s a great place to unplug, go hiking, explore nature, and experience local life.
  We are looking for respectful, open-minded people who are eager to pitch in. Above all, we want the experience to be enjoyable for everyone.

  Vivimos en Lomo del Balo, en Valle Gran Rey, en un entorno tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza. Mi madre tiene una pequeña finca de aguacates, y buscamos personas que quieran compartir unos días con nosotros, ayudando en las tareas de la finca y disfrutando al mismo tiempo de una auténtica experiencia de vida en la isla.
  La finca es un lugar sencillo y especial, está un poco apartada de la casa, donde podrán conocer de cerca cómo se trabaja la tierra y todo lo que implica cuidar y mantener un pequeño cultivo de aguacates.
  Para nosotros, Workaway no consiste solamente en recibir ayuda, sino también en compartir nuestra forma de vida y aprender de las personas que nos visitan. Podemos enseñarles cosas sobre la vida cotidiana en este lugar, el cuidado de los aguacates, las costumbres locales y cómo es vivir de una manera más tranquila y conectada con la naturaleza.
  A cambio, nos gustaría conocer sus países, culturas, idiomas, comidas, costumbres y experiencias. Nos encanta aprender de otras personas y descubrir nuevas formas de ver la vida. Esperamos que el intercambio sea una experiencia en la que todos podamos aportar algo y llevarnos buenos recuerdos.
  Valle Gran Rey es un lugar muy especial para nosotros, con un paisaje impresionante, montañas, barrancos, palmeras y el océano. Es un buen sitio para desconectar, caminar, conocer la naturaleza y descubrir la vida local.
  Buscamos personas respetuosas, abiertas y con ganas de colaborar. Sobre todo, queremos que la experiencia sea agradable para todos.

  The help may include tasks such as tending to plants, cleaning and maintaining the property, harvesting avocados during the season, and other minor tasks that arise. No prior experience is necessary; the most important thing is a willingness to learn, collaborate, and enjoy working outdoors.

  Volunteers will stay in a private room with a bed, in a simple and peaceful setting. The idea is for them to have a comfortable space to rest after helping on the farm and to enjoy their free time exploring.

  A fresh and relaxed start to the day, with options such as bread, fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, and other homemade treats.
  
  We believe that food is an important part of experiencing a new place and culture, so whenever possible, we use fresh, local and seasonal ingredients and enjoy sharing our way of cooking with our Workawayers.
