  Urgently Needed volunteer:
  1. "NATIVE SPEAKER (US, England, Australia or Canada) 2022 (Mid of March to June) for teaching.
  2. Non-Native Speaker (fluent in English and ready to socialize with different people and culture).
  
  Before you come to my place, YOU MUST:
  1. Send me your result of SWAP / RAPID Test.
  2. Send me your traveling record in last two weeks.
  
  
  ABOUT ME __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
  My name's Deni Abdillah M, just call me Deni or Dani. I'm 36 y/o and an English lecturer. I describe my self an open-minded person, have a sense of humor, fun, hard worker, and communicative. I go to work at College of Health Sciences. I teach English for Specific Purposes: Nursing and Midwifery. Beside that, Im also an Advisor lecturer for Student Activity Unit on Language.
  
  I love nature, playing football, futsal, jogging, hiking, hanging out, trekking, camping, walking, surfing on the internet, swimming, reading, and watching a movie.
  
  WORKPLACE

  My workplace is in Bukittinggi. It is Yarsi College of Health Science. I really need your help for English (speaking). We are very eager to learn English with people from other countries. We are ready in exchanging cultures and languages. Our mother tongue is Minang and Bahasa (Indonesia) is our national language. Our mother tongue; Minang is unique, while Bahasa is learned in 45 countries. It is easy to use. You just say based on it is written.
  
  Your presence will boost our students' motivation, and they can interact by using the target language (basic English) directly.
  
  Then, if you decide to help me out, you will stay in Bukittinggi. I have one private room for you and food as the exchange.
  
  * I'm really eager learning languages; Spanish, Italian and French.
  
  LIVING PLACE & FAMILY

  I have been living in Sawahlunto for 8 years in a rented house. We can provide you a private room also. I have been married for 8 years and I have a daughter (7 y/o). My wife is a civil servant (Elementary school teacher). She is really kind and busy, and she is very good in cooking. My daughter is cute and adorable. But now, I live in Bukittinggi (parent's in law house).
  
  Furthermore, my parents live in Payakumbuh (just 2.5 hours from Sawahlunto). My dad is retired (He was a sports teacher), while my mom is a housewife. Now, my mom is planting corn, banana, cassava, and other vegetables. The farm field is about 10 minutes from my parents' house. In the house, we have one bedroom empty. It is a special room for a guest.
  
  CULTURE

  Our philosophy in Minangkabau is "Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah". It means that we live and act based on the Qur'an (Holy Book). Minangkabau is 100% Moslem (Islam). Our tradition is unique, that is Matrelinelism system. We follow our mother blood. Based on BBC Indonesia, Minangkabau is the biggest tribe with using Matrilinealism system in the world.
  
  What rules which you MUST follow?
  
  a. If you are unmarried couple, you will sleep in diffferent room.
  b. Women are not allowed to wear a tank top and hotpants outside, except in a bedroom.
  c. Ready to learn our language, culture and interact with our people.
  d. Respect the differences.
  e. Respect the students' limitation.
  f. Pay for your own transportation and meal (outside the house).
  
  NATURE

  We have beautiful nature in Sumatera Barat. There are Lakes, mountains, jungles, beaches, valley, and canyon. I think you can start googling with the keyword: Sumatera Barat, West Sumatera, Bukittinggi, Sawahlunto, Payakumbuh, Sianok Canyon, Jam Gadang, Harau Valley, Minangkabau.
  
  I would love to try hiking and climbing to the mountain; Mount Merapi in Bukittinggi - Sumatera Barat - Indonesia. Because I live and work in three different cities, so I know those cities very much.
  
  We are very welcome for both native and non-native speaker to join us.

  1. Teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP): Nursing & Midwifery.
  
  You will be an instructor and an assisstant.
  
  2. Discussing about tourism, culture, sustainability, TOEFL/IELTS/TOIEC.
  
  3. Developing lesson plan.
  
  You don't have to be experienced in nursing and midwifery as long as you are very eager in English and education. In order to make it clear, I'll show you the lesson plan later.

  "Make yourself home"
  1.Pillow + blanket + private room.
  (Unmarried couple will not sleep together).
  2. Food and drink. You are allowed to cook your own meal. (We eat rice 3 times a day).
  
  I can arrange a transportation from the airport (Minangkabau International Airport) to my place (Bukittinggi) for you.

  You can explore our beautiful nature (mountain, lakes, valley, canyon, etc) and city such as visiting our tourism objects and historical places. How? You can take, public car called Angkot, cart (Bendi), OJEK (it is one of our transportation with a bike and the driver / rider), and you can book it online called Go-Jek, or you prefer walking. I'll give you some tips about the area which you want to visit.
  If I have free time, I'll show you around.
