  Beschreibung

  We are Jana and Jan, and together we run a guesthouse, retreat and workshop place in the beautiful countryside of Nordfriesland, close to the North Sea in northern Germany.
  
  It is more than just a holiday accommodation. Our vision is to bloom a place where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and enjoy a combination of nature, movement and mindfulness. We host holiday guests as well as seminars, retreats and workshops. Movement and personal development are an important part of our place, including Yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Martial hearts.
  
  Our property is surrounded by open countryside and the wide North Frisian landscape. We have several holiday apartments and guest rooms, a large movement and seminar space and different outdoor areas . There is always something happening, but at the same time the atmosphere is peaceful and close to nature.
  
  We are looking for someone who would like to become part of our everyday life for a while and support us mainly with the preparation and cleaning of our holiday apartments and guest rooms, laundry and keeping the common areas beautiful and welcoming. Depending on your interests and skills, there may also be opportunities to help with small projects around the house, garden and property.
  
  For us, reliability and independence are very important, but so are respect, openness, authenticity and a friendly way of communicating. We appreciate people who see what needs to be done, take responsibility for their tasks and at the same time enjoy being part of a warm and relaxed environment.
  
  We love meeting people with different backgrounds and stories and creating an atmosphere where everyone can feel respected and at home.

  Here, cultural exchange happens naturally through everyday life, shared experiences and meeting people from different backgrounds.
  
  You will get to know life in rural North Frisia, close to the North Sea, with its wide landscapes, strong connection to nature and a slower rhythm of life. We are happy to share our knowledge about the region, local culture and what it means to live in this special part of northern Germany.
  
  As we welcome holiday guests, seminar groups and retreat participants, there are also opportunities to meet people from different places and cultures. Our work and personal interests include Yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Martial Arts, mindfulness and personal development, and you are welcome to exchange ideas and experiences around these topics.
  
  For us, cultural exchange also means learning from each other. We are interested in your background, your experiences, your skills and your way of seeing the world. We enjoy good conversations, sharing meals from time to time and discovering what we can learn from one another.
  
  At the same time, we respect everyone’s need for independence and personal space. It is not about constant group activities, but about creating a warm and open environment where connection, exchange and individuality can exist side by side.

  Arbeit

  The main focus of the help is the independent care and maintenance of our property, guest rooms, holiday apartments, house and garden.
  
  We are looking for someone who enjoys practical tasks, takes responsibility and is comfortable working independently. It is important to us that agreed tasks are completed reliably, while at the same time being attentive and noticing what else may need to be done.
  
  We appreciate people who do not only act from a fixed checklist, but who can also look around, think ahead and take initiative. At the same time, good communication is essential: priorities, timing and larger tasks should always be coordinated with us so that everyone knows what is important and when things need to be done.
  
  The tasks may include cleaning and preparing guest rooms and apartments, caring for shared areas, laundry, general household tasks, small maintenance jobs and gardening.
  
  For us, the ideal person is reliable, practical, organized, self-responsible and proactive, while also being comfortable with clear agreements and regular communication.

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own spacious and comfortable private room, furnished to a high standard with an own bathroom, so you have a peaceful place to relax and feel at home.
  
  The room is part of a small guest area with a shared, fully equipped kitchen, which is also used by guests staying in two other rooms.
  
  We value a clean, welcoming and respectful living environment and want you to have both your own privacy and the opportunity to connect with others when you feel like it.
  We provide free accommodation and pay at least the german statutory minimum wage for every hour worked.

  Was noch ...

  We are located in the wide and peaceful countryside of North Frisia, surrounded by fields, open skies, lots of nature and – very typically for northern Germany – plenty of fresh air and wind.
  
  We live quite rurally, without close neighbours or busy surroundings. It is a wonderful place if you enjoy space, quietness, nature and a slower pace of life.
  
  Because of the rural location, it is important to know that the nearest supermarket is about 6 km away. We provide a bicycle for you to use during your stay, so you can get around independently and explore the surrounding area.
  
  If you enjoy nature, wide landscapes and being away from the noise of a city, you will probably feel very comfortable here..
