My name is Inge, I am 24 years old, and currently enjoying a gap year after graduating from university. I am originally from the Netherlands, but at the moment living in Rome, where I can enjoy the warm weather, the beauty of the city, and its surroundings. Although I love living here, I have realised that I am not truly made for the city life. I grew up in a small village in the north of the Netherlands, where stepping outside for just two minutes would bring you into the open fields. My parents have always had dogs, and one of the things I love most is taking our dog on a long walks and seeing how much we both enjoy being outdoors. That easy step into nature is something I miss while living in Rome, and is why I would love to spend some time in nature again. Throughout my life, I have traveled to several beautiful places, where I challenged my body to be active. I have done unforgettable hikes in Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Albania and Montenegro, and through those hikes I discovered how much I love being in the mountains. I am very motivated and enthusiastic to gain new experiences in Italy, and would love to learn and contribute in a meaningful way to your place.
