Hello! Our names are Valentina and Tishma, we are two 20-year-old best friends from Italy. Valentina is currently living in Sweden, where she is gaining valuable experience as an au pair—an opportunity that is helping her grow both personally and emotionally. Tishma has already had the chance to explore different working environments: she has worked in a restaurant, in a dental clinic, and is currently working in a travel agency. Through these experiences, she has learned to adapt quickly, take responsibility, and work with different people. At the same time, like many people in their twenties, she feels the need to slow down and reconnect with herself, finding clarity and meaning within the beautiful confusion of this phase of life. For the months of April and May, we are looking for a Workaway experience together that allows us to reconnect with nature, slow down, and find ourselves again—side by side—while contributing with care, enthusiasm, and respect to our host’s daily life. It is very important for us to travel and volunteer only together, as we share the same values, a strong sense of teamwork, and a genuine desire to help and learn. We are used to working side by side, adapting easily, and supporting each other in any situation. We love simple living, being in nature, animals, hands-on work, and meaningful cultural exchange. We are responsible, open-minded, and always willing to learn new skills and perspectives. We would love to share time, stories, and meaningful experiences with hosts who believe in cultural exchange, sustainability, and conscious living 🌱
