I'm an adventurous woman with a passion for travel and new experiences. I feel at home in nature, having grown up off the grid on a remote island in the Canadian wilderness. My hobbies include hiking, boating, kayaking, snorkeling, amateur photography, drawing, yoga. I am an artist with a degree in graphic design. I take horseback riding lessons in the US and am always looking for opportunities to improve my horsemanship. I also welcome opportunities to practice my Spanish language skills. I have an interest in organic gardening, aquaculture and aquaponics, and sustainable ways of living, and I'm excited to try local foods, especially fruits and veggies. In the summer I work as an office manager and a deckhand on a boat on Lake Superior (the world's biggest freshwater lake), and during the winter season I am a bartender. My main passion is fishing, and I love traveling to destinations where I can chase new species of fish! I am creative and open-minded and can't wait to see more of the world! Mis pasatiempos incluyen senderismo, pesca y paseos en bote, buceo, kayak, correr, fotografía amateur, dibujo, yoga. Soy un artista licenciado en diseño gráfico. He estado intentando aprender español por mí mismo por un tiempo y recientemente tomé una semana de clases en Ecuador. Espero tener la oportunidad de practicar mis habilidades lingüísticas durante el viaje. Tomo lecciones de equitación en los Estados Unidos y siempre estoy buscando oportunidades para mejorar mi equitación. Tengo interés en la jardinería orgánica, la acuicultura y la acuaponía, y las formas de vida sostenibles, y estoy emocionado de probar alimentos locales, especialmente frutas y verduras. Una vida sana es importante para mí. hello, I'm naomi :) I am wandering around this earth for the last 10 years, with some breaks to work as a nurse in switzerland and with my husband in mexico as a jewelry smith. my personality is quiet and more introverted, but I can talk for hours if we vibe. I like to spend my time with friends and strangers, cook and eat together, share happiness and play board games :) I'm eager to collaborate on social projects, creating spaces where people can connect and share. I come from a rock climbers family, so naturally love to spend time outdoors. I love to be active and relax with a good book both the same. I'm excited to learn new skills and connect through meaningful projects. In the past I helped my friend to build her little adobe hut in the spanish desert, lived in a community in andalusia for a while and learned to play few instruments (not that good). being creative is so much fun, photography , pottery or jewelry. I'm very interested to learn more about natural building methods, permaculture and how to make clothes/fabrics!
