Hi! I’m an easygoing traveler who enjoys discovering new places, meeting people from different cultures, and being part of everyday life in new communities. I'm currently planning my sabbatical to do a Southeast Asia trip very soon. I’m really excited about discovering new places, tasting new things and of course connecting with all sorts of people. You’ll usually find me hiking, chilling with friends, visiting a museum or art gallery or just sitting quietly somewhere in nature. I’m a people person, connecting with people & making new friends, is why I’m here. I'm a teaching assistant in a primary school & I’ve spent many years teaching English during my travels, and as my career has always been in education. I’m also happy to help with English practice for anyone wanting to improve their language skill. I can just about converse in German too, which has helped me connect with people along the way. Cooking is a passion of mine, preparing simple, tasty meals and sharing food together. I tend to get along easily with people from all walks of life and appreciate the small, simple things in life. A cause that is very dear to me is humanity and caring for our planet. My goal in travelling is simply to be part of different communities, learn about different cultures, and give something positive back to society wherever I go, & I think 'Workaway' is a great place to start.

I will be visiting family in Frankfurt area this August, and would love to explore the Schleswig-Holstein on my way south. I love farm life, and family life, and learning.
