    Description

From May 7 to 23, we have a room in East Vancouver for two people who can help with household tasks: minor household repairs, painting a room, repairing or replacing fixtures, etc.

Located in the City of Vancouver (East Van near Trout Lake Park) -- one room (not luxurious but private and comfortable) for preferable two people (friends or couple).

I’m a graphic designer and partner in our neighbourhood cafe. I’m looking for help making over a few things in our house. I travel half the year (digital nomad) and have had the benefit of great hosts, cultural exchanges, and friendships around the world and would love to offer a place to stay and help you get to know life in Vancouver.

Strengths: Great shared house with nice housemates, your room is just outside of the main house but private and comfortable. Full flexibility, come and go as you like -- no specific work times, prepare your own meals when you like. Great for digital nomads -- good wifi and a few options for workspaces, including our cafe a few blocks away.

Weaknesses: Suits independent people who can self-direct, find their own way around, and who can choose a work task and see it through to completion without much supervision.

We don’t need much general help, so if you have specific skills or experience in home repair we’d love to hear about it.

We are warm and welcoming and you'll enjoy the chance to see some of Vancouver and connect with other travellers. I've lived in Vancouver all my life and look forward to sharing our knowledge about the culture and history, and on great things to do while you're here. I travel half time around the rest of the world and am always happy to share experiences with new friends.
