  Beschreibung

  This is a small permaculture farm project shared between Marc(64, Father) Deborah(64, Mother) and Reuben (26,Son).
  
  Located in the North-west part of France, the Anjou region more specifically, we aim to produce our own food with our garden or through foraging and our daily routine revolves around that and a constant interaction with our local network.
  
  Marc and Deborah bought the farm 24 years ago with the firm intention of renovating the place and opening it to welcome others, they are a British couple who moved to France some 34 years ago.
  
  Reuben who was raised with his siblings on the property came back to the farm in 2022 after traveling in Norway for a couple years also with Workaway and is now planning on keeping the family farm alive!
  
  The local life is very rural and far from the stresses of the city. Reuben has a large circle of friends and acquaintances in the area who share similar worldviews and projects with him. He loves to take part in local activities but is also an avid traveler and hiker, and always ready for the next adventure.
  
  Marc and Debbie, coming to retirement age, also love to take part in local activities with their community network. Both practice their spirituality daily through prayer and contemplation.

  We are happy to accompany you into rural french culture and language exchange.
  
  Reuben loves to spend time outdoors wether it's hiking, running, cycling, snowboarding or surfing he also loves going camping and will happily take you out on various trips and outdoor adventures.

  Arbeit

  Daily help on the farm is needed with tasks ranging from everyday maintenance to plant cultivation and animal care. Might need help on various building projects involving masonry, building chicken houses, fixing fences, painting walls, etc...

  Unterkunft

  The farm has an old family home as the main living quarters and some of the outbuildings that's been renovated into a tourist accomodation.
  
  You will have your own room in the main house and we will share the facilities such as bathroom and kitchen. The room can sleep two people, it is possible to host couples or friends but we will not host strangers together in the same room.
  
  We will be happy to share meals with you (Breakfast, lunch) dinner is usually a snack for us. Our diet is flexitarian based, we aim to eat healthy, balanced diets but most importantly integral ingredients (locally organic grown/raised vegetables/meat)
