  Our school is a private school (kindergarten & elementary school) located in Mao, in the northern part of the Dominican Republic. We offer high-quality education to children from ages 1 until 10.
  We are new school in town with an intensive English program focused on developing the young minds of today for the future of tomorrow.

  Mao is a town where no tourists come, so you'll experience the real Dominican lifestyle. We can show you around and point out the good spots. You can practice your Spanish by talking to the teachers and the kids. In the weekends you can go on a trip to the beach, go diving, surfing, swimming, dancing bachata, merengue and salsa or explore the rest of the Dominican Republic.

  We are looking for enthusiastic people who enjoy working with children and who have a degree in education or have a significant experience in teaching children. Because we expand every year, there is a lot of need for extra help. We are looking for someone who can teach English classes in primary school. Do you have a degree in education and do you speak English very well? We can offer you a fun and life changing teaching experience. This is a paid position. We can offer you a correct salary.

  Unterkunft

  You will stay in a joint apartment with one of our Dominican teachers. You'll have your own bedroom and a joined bathroom next to the common rooms. There's a kitchen, living room and a terrace. The place is very clean, comfortable and spacious.
  The apartment is located in the center of Mao.
  
  You'll get a warm meal at lunchtime at school (rice, pasta, beans, salad, fish, chicken).
  You can use the kitchen in the apartment. There is a supermarket in the center of the town.

  Was noch ...

  There is only place for a maximum of one Workawayer, because there's only one spare bedroom. In the area you can explore Santiago (1 hour drive), the second largest city of the Dominican Republic. The sea is a one hour drive away. Cabarete is a lovely place to go kite surfing. You can make a trip to one of the national parcs to go canyoning or hiking.
