Description
Hi, from origin Dutch, I live in France since 2011 in the Morvan region, part of Burgundy. This is the fourth house I live in and I also like this house very much……. Very quiet, not remote, in a hamlet of Chateau Chinon. One of the first things I did, when I came to France, was adopting a dog. Now I have two of them and also a cat and I never realised that it should be so nice to have them around.
Bonjour, d’origine Néerlandais, j’habite depuis 2011 en France dans le Morvan, partie de la Bourgogne. C’est la quatrième maison en France où j’habite et je l'aime beaucoup ! Très calme, pas lointain, dans un hameau de Chateau Chinon. L’une des premières choses que j’ai fait quand je me suis installé en 2011, c’était de adopter un chien d’un refuge. Maintenant j’en ai deux et un chat et je n’ai jamais cru que c’était si agréable de les avoir autour de moi !

Staying with me means having a nice, relaxed time, good conversations in French, English, German or Dutch (!), And a little bit of Spanish and a spoonful of Indonesian!
Chez moi vous auriez un temps tranquille, avec des conversations en Français, Anglais, Allemand ou Néerlandais ( !) Et un petit peu d'Espagnol et encore moins d'Indonésien!
Help
Although I live in a comfortable house, I like changing things to make it more comfortable and more in my own style For this season I would like to make a pond and make a new door for a shed. Apart from that and depending on your offer, possibilities , time, the weather and so on, I have a lot off other activities in my mind like: laying an oak floor, making a cupboard, making slice doors, painting walls, putting a composite floor, gardening, ……………, and letting the dogs out! I would like to have a helping hand with these activities !
As I believe in mutual relations, I would like to learn from you too. Learn how you coop with things we do, as I don't know all.... And I would like to learn some more Spanish. One day I might spend winterperiods in Spain and then it's very useful to be able to have at least some conversation with people. Until now, I spent one week in Almunecar to have a Spanish course, but it doesn't make me speak Spanish fluently........

J’habite une maison confortable, mais il y a toujours quelque chose à désirer, n’est-ce pas ? Pour la saison qui va venir je voudrais créer un bassin de jardin et rénover la porte d’une grange. En plus, mais ça dépend de vos offres, possibilités et temps, et du temps et beaucoup plus, je voudrais poser un sol en chêne, faire un placard, poser des portes coulissantes, peindre des murs, poser un sol de composite, travailler dans le jardin, ………….. , et faire des promenades avec mes chers chiens !
Je croie en relations donnant donnant, donc je voudrais aussi bien apprendre de la manière où une autre personne fait des choses quand nous travaillons ensemble. Je ne sais certainement pas tout! Et je vourdais apprendre plus de la langue Espagnole. Un jour je voudrais passer des vacances en hiver en Espagne et à ce moment là il me semble très pratique de pouvoir parler avec les gens. J'ai passé une semaine à Almunecar pour apprendre la langue, mais bien sûr ce n'était pas suffisemment du tout!

Accommodation
Last year, in February 2023 I moved to this house. On the upper floor, there is a sleepingplace and the bathroom and toilet are downstairs. So, if this is convenient enough for you, you can contact me……
L'année dernière, en février 2023, j'ai emménagé dans cette maison. A l'étage supérieur, il y a une chambre à coucher et la salle de bain et les toilettes sont au rez-de-chaussée. Si cela vous convient, vous pouvez me contacter......
When you are here, we can cook and eat together. I would like to describe myself as a 'vegetarian with a twist'! And eating together is another good moment to have good conversations.
Quand vous êtes ici, je préfère de manger ensemble. Je suis végetarien avec un clin d'oeil...... Et préparer et manger les repas sont des moments pour avoir des belles conversations!
