Description
I am a single mother of a 11 year old boy who just happens to have down syndrome. I am originally from Mexico City, I lived in the United States for many years where I graduated with a BA in International Relations and economics. I love people, traveling, reading, playing with my son and being often instead of doing. I love Bacalar with all my heart!!!! Right now I need someone to help take care of Noah, I am looking for a loving and fun person, preferably with experience working with children, Waldorf pedagogy and/or physical, occupational or/and speech therapy. Also I am looking for an experienced gardener !!!!!. Please I need someone that is passionate about working with children with special needs.

Endless possibilities here in this amazingly beautiful, mystic place. It has a powerful lagoon known for its 7 shades of blue and it is the home of the oldest form of organisms (stromatolites). Located among Mayan communities you will be part of Mayan culture, language and traditions. Bacalar’s history is unique in the Mayan world. I am a Spanish and English teacher also. The town is thriving with conscious visitors from all over the world who understand the importance of protecting the lagoon, culture and traditions. For all you water loving people sailing is a way of life here between fresh and salty waters of the Caribbean. We are only 20 mins from the border with Belize. I could go on and on.......

At the moment I offer a room with a double bed. I will provide bedding and all. I have a shower, bathroom and the kitchen is free to use! . I offer a lot of basics for cooking; stuff like oil, oats, Quinoa, spices, coffee and stuff like that. There are markets nearby, and you are free to use the kitchen as you please, and there'll always be room in the fridge for your food. I also have Wi-Fi.
What else ...
Couples are welcome. I speak fluent English and Spanish.
The lagoon is 200m away. Water sports galore, archeological sites, 2 hours from top 10 most beautiful beaches of Tulum. Scuba diving in 2nd largest reef in the world. 5 of the most incredible cenotes. Great place for musicians and artists.A little more information

His spontaneous and open nature makes him known everywhere, and he enjoys spending time in the beautiful lagoon as much as walking around the city… read more
Adriana is an inspiring person: open minded, communicative and she can also teach you how to cook delicious mexican food. I loved socialising with her, we also did some excursions together. She made me feel like a part of her family!
