Description
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP US TAKING CARE OF OUR VEGETABLE GARDEN DURING THE SUMMER!
Hello! We are Paola and Andrew and we live at a farm, in Beltra, about 20 minutes drive from Sligo town on the West Coast of Ireland and just beside the Atlantic Ocean. When we're not farming we are working in our coffee roastery but we mainly need help with growing vegetables. We have a two polytunnels and a walled garden and we grow organic vegetable. We are looking for help with several task depending on the time of the year: weeding, preparing soil and beds for planting, sowing, harvesting, packing vegetable, collecting seaweed, wood collection and maintenance of the flower garden.

The West of Ireland is rich in heritage (neolithic tombs) and music. We enjoy sharing what we know about the area we live. In addition we are close by the ocean, so you can go for a surf!

There are many interesting and fun things to do around Sligo. Have a look at Strandhill for surfing, Carrowmore, Carrowkeel for neolithic tombs. There are also very nice walks/treks in the area (i.e. Knocknarea mountain).
