Description
We are a animal friendly community engaged with farming, fruit growing and forestry.
Besides me, Leonora, Sara and Alex also live on the farm. Leonora is my agro-partner who leads permaculture farming, Sara is working in Šmartno and Alex, her partner, is currently constructing my new house. With us is also dog Art and several cats.
We are almost in the centre of sLOVEnia, near Litija. We hope to become self-sustaining because we have two springs of water, 12 ha of forest, a lot of healthy fertile land and also a big green house.
I'm still working in Ljubljana between Monday and Thursday when you may join me for the ride from Ljubljana to the farm on the afternoon. Usually between 2 and 3pm at Kersnikova 3. If you come on the other days is the most convinient to take a train to Litija and we may help you with a transport from Litija to the farm. During the week you may join Sara who works near Litija and you may joing here to the farm.
Independently from Ljubljana you may take a train to Litija and (only on a workdays catch a bus (or hitchhike) to Cerovica (direction Gabrovka) at 12.23, 14.28, 15.38 and 17.18. From Cerovica you continue 300m and walk uphill for 2km or hitchhike. Hitchhiking is easy.
We may provide you, mostly private, accommodation and food for three meals a day and expect from you to participate in the help up to 5hours a day. Long-term or permanent cohabitation is also possible.
We are eating plant based food and is desirable that you don’t bring any meat or meat products or alcohol. At the moment may accept also a long time residents and somebody who will takeover a farm after few years...
So far i traveled 150 countries, +80 on a bicycle, run 10 marathons and hosted more than 1100 guests in Ljubljana and on the farm in last 22 years.
I speak Croatian, English, Italian, Spanish and a bit of French, German, Portuguese and Bahasa.
