  • Description

Friends and I moved to this place in 2017 from Southern California. We got tired of the rat race, the crowded freeways and the wildfires. We wanted a bigger, natural space, a more free way of life and we were in desperate need of water... No joke!!

Our vision is to turn this few acres into a community, a place where our friends can come to retreat, relax, eat, get healthy, have fun and feel welcomed.

I'm a natural health consultant and work with natural therapies including diets, medicinal herbs, crystals and metaphysics, and my sidekick is a bad ass artist named Walt.

Looking to make new friends to have fun and get a few acres of land ready for gardening and living spaces!

A small fruit orchard with medicinal plants and herbs was planted last summer, but much more needs to be done, so we're looking for
strong people who can handle working hard and playing hard!

We had the first of 3 tiny cottages built, but it needs finishing. Construction experience a huge plus.

Must not be afraid of getting dirty, clearing land, splitting wood, and planting flowers.

This is in exchange for a beautiful place to retreat, relax, eat healthy and most definitely create a symbiotic relationship that benefits all of us.

We can possibly arrange a pick up from the airport in Nashville or Chattanooga.

  • Accommodation

Currently there are tents available with bedding, will have access to a bathroom with running water and a hot shower.

Make no mistake, this is STRAIGHT UP CAMPING IN THE WOODS!
We're talking campfires and composting toilets, so be prepared!
The hunter's cabin we're currently in is very rustic,
    but we do have WiFi!

Until we get our outside kitchen built, cooking and preparation of meals are at your own discretion, unless we plan meals together.
Everyone is on their own schedule so you'll have to feed yourself:)

Homegrown or local, fresh farm produce will be provided.
You provide your own meat, dairy, alcohol!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Located 1800 feet in elevation up on the Cumberland Plateau, we are in a rural location, 30 minutes from Chattanooga and the South Cumberland State Park is practically in our backyard.

It's wild out here! There are mountain lions, black bear, bobcat and deer. No fences!
Foster Falls is the nearest waterfall and swimming hole, 3 mi down the road.

Many other waterfalls, springs, streams and lakes are nearby, as well as hiking/biking trails and of course water sports like boating, kayaking and paddle boarding, extreme sports like rock climbing, motorcycle riding, skydiving and hang gliding are also in the area!
