Carmen came here to our family with good vibes! She followed all the COVID -19 rules regarding quarantine etc. She is quick learner and willing to take tasks with perfection. Carmen painted the external end wall of the house, took care of the sheep, de-weeding of weeds on the grazing field etc. Elle and Tiara, our cats become good friends with

We had family fun altogether, where we went to some places for sightseeing and enjoyed relaxation time in front of the fireplace. We had guests at home where she was indeed a family member and part of the social gatherings, to the extent we could relax our shoulders and be ourselves.
We would highly recommend Carmen! She is always welcome here again to continue to be part of our family.

This was my first workaway experience. Staying with this family was so amazing! I ended up staying three weeks instead of two, because I loved it so much with them. They are the kindest people and they took such good care of me. They shared a lot of interesting and funny stories with me. They also showed me some stunning places in Norway that I'm

I stayed in a caravan in the garden and I had my own bathroom in the basement of the house which made it easy to do the required quarantine after arriving. The caravan was cute and perfect, I was never cold or uncomfortable and had a lot of privacy.
The work that I did was enjoyable and I had a lot of freedom to choose my own working hours. I painted the house, worked in the field, cleaned the windows et cetera.
I became really good friends with the cats and I adored little Adam. My stay couldn't have been better and I've seen so much of Norway and Norwegian culture! I am definitely coming back for a visit.

Thea came into our hectic and chaotic situation like a whirlwind! She truly acted as a catalysator for all to put up their best efforts! Unfortunately for Thea, her days with us were over before she got to enjoy the new terrace she helped building.
Thea is solid proof that even someone half your age can be your mentor!
It felt very much like

Thea were no stranger to trying difficult challenges. We are forever grateful, and hope to see her again soon! 💕
I was this families first volunteer and was very well welcomed. Food was amazing considering the big projects that was happening during my stay there. Me and Bruce(my dog) got a caravan all to our selves with heating and wifi. You can be doing all kinds of work from heavy lifting and shovelling to gardening and feeding the sheep.
