Description
We are a young social company seeking to develop sustainable tourism strategies to support conservation projects in Nicaragua. We don´t receive money from any organization/gubernamental institutions. We run sustainable conservation initiatives thanks to active donators that participate in our projects; they cover their expenses and leave some funds on the top to keep going with the project. Nevertheless, our staff team is small and we can´t cover all the activities. It is because we always look for versatile people with interest to learn about wildlife conservation and help on specific project areas, We look for people focus on social media & fundraising to help to increase the impact and visibility of the project. Thus, we appreciate people with cooking skills to organize shopping/cooking activities at the field station. Before you apply or offer your generous time to this initiative, please understand that we are in Nicaragua and work with the local community so it is important to us that you are able to communicate in Spanish even if your level is not advanced; we also want to receive people who commit for a minimum of one month.

I had the pleasure to stay at the project for over 2 months, from late November to early January. I was able to see both adult sea turtles come to the beach to lay eggs, and release baby turtles the project had rescued from poachers and incubated. I cannot recommend spending time here more, it… read more
Helping the turtles is really an amazing experience to live, we had the chance to see so many hatchlings since it was almost the end of the nesting season, and we really got lucky during the last night of our stay by having the chance to whiteness three… read more
