  Description

  25 years ago I started for Hungary, into a small village in the southern part of this country. Today I am convinced:: This house had been waiting for me, it gives me a lot of good energy.
  Unfortunately till now I did not realize my dreams and possibilities to live there for a longer time. Not yet. So neighbours are helpfully supporting me to keep the house.
  
  What I am looking for as support given by workawayers?
  Give me a hand with all what is to be done like gardening or housekeeping, reparing clay walls, fire wood work. Most important for me is your creativity by 'styling' or designing some areas of the greenery - steps, meditation place, plants, stones, sculptures ... what ever you liked to do.
  
  What is my background?
  Today there is a special challenge being grandma of two beautiful young kids in my hometown. In the past I worked as professional consultant in Germany, Switzerland and India. My life? On roads, in hotels instead of enjoying my home as well as this house in Hungary. I am getting new balanced lifetime since corona.
  
  What is the location?
  The main house is made of clay in the very typical style of Hungarian cottages ca. 100 years ago. My goal always had been to take care of style and material - not as easy as I thought: People forgot the old techniques and use modern materials restauring the old houses. Now I replace step by step concrete parts by clay .
  In this house you find a 2-bed-room, the ancient kitchen as living room plus kitchen, bathroom with shower and WC. The 'livingroom' means fireplace, table, seats. Internet is available.
  
  There is another separate building almost made of wood, the former shelter. The former cowshed beside is made with clay walls, today a beautiful bedroom. Bath room and WC are newly built of bricks.
  
  You want to know a bit more about the village?
  Today ca. 80 Hungarian inhabitants
  About 5 houses owned by Germans, Swiss.
  No shop, no bar, no restaurant, nothing - all lost in times after 1991.
  People speak Hungarian. Only few of them speak English or German.
  The people are friendly and open.
  
  The attraction of this place seams to be low. You have to like making experiences with simple life in a simple village. If ever you wanted to experience simple life - no tv, only internet access in my house - this may be a good place for you like it is for me.
  This place is made for you if you need to recover or, if you want , to make a break, get supported with professional coaching, meditation, self reflection. Or even silence.
  if you wanted I will take you to 'our' town, market and coffee houses; or the natural environment. The lake Balaton is not far away. Even the landscape is some kind of simple: Nothing huge, not really impressive or extraordinary.
  
  In my former life I've been not only consultant and therapist but teacher of German literature as well - You are free to take your profit.

  The main benefit will be natur, village life style of today. You may meet Hungarian people, friends and see how they live today. Hungary is a developing country in EU, slowly leaving deep poverty. I learned a lot about challenges the people had to manage in confrontation with capitalism. A better understanding of their life in socialism is possible, if we get informations directly
  We learn about poverty in Europe, its beauty, simplicity, lifestyle.
  
  I will show you some beautiful places neearby.

  Accommodation

  This house is a typical hungarian small farmhouse more than 100 years old . Unbelievable that two to three generations lived in here at the same time!
  You will sleep in the mainhouse made of clay with real good and healthy climat. The bedroom with 2 wooden beds is simple, beautiful, small. It helps to sleep deeply. If ever you can not sleep, you will find some books and elected music on CD. There is no TV - I am sorry.
  
  We may share the small kitchen and our table - normaly we stay most of the day outside while working or recovering in hidden places.
  
  I like cooking and will prepare your meals for breakfast, lunch and diner if you want - mostly I prefer vegetarian food, but I will hear what you want or need.
  My cooking style is a mixture of Mediterranian and Asian food: spicy, fresh, sustainable.
  We buy regional products from the market place and small typical shops 15 km away.

  This place is wonderful to forget trouble, problems, stress. Read, paint, dream - relax.
  I am experianced consultant, therapist and will give any support wanted to find psychologically and physically based balance.
  If you are only looking for a relaxing place in the middle of my green wilderness you will find it .
