    Description

We are a family in the middle of Sweden. We have a small farm with some sheep, a goat, hens, a dog, cats and bees. We have a garden with a lot of fruit and berries, and also grow some vegetables.

Jenny works from home as a web editor and a distributor for a health company. She is also a photographer, journalist and have a lot of other things to do. Örjan works as both music teacher in school and a church musician. Our son Algot is 11 years, fluent in english and truly a member of the digital generation.

We try to eat from our own farm and garden and the forest as much as possible. Mostly gluten free and vegan (except what's from our farm). We have solar panels, we make our own honey, halloumi, jam, kombucha, fermented vegetables and a lot more.

Our village Näsåker is an exiting place with famous rock carvings and hosting the annual world music festival Urkult, every first weekend in August.

Örjan plays a lot of music.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Näsåker is a small but active village with a lot of events, music, theater and more. We have other workawayers in our village.
Traveling to and from here can be a bit cumbersome, especially on Saturdays.
Our nearest town is Sollefteå, and our nearest train station is in Kramfors.

    NORTHERN LIGHTS/AURORA BOREALIS
Many workawayers ask us about the northern lights. Where we live, they are mostly visible from October to March, but there is of course no guarantee even then.
