Description
We are an art-loving couple (Regine and Younes) and live in a small house with large garden in the north of Berlin. Our children are grown up and moved out. We like sharing with other cultures and need help in the garden, dog walking or house maintanance.

We are currently looking for a workawayer to help us in the garden in May (weeding) and a bit with the housework.
At the end of June I would be very happy about a week's help with my three grandchildren (11, 8 and 5 years) - for this task German at least beginner is necessary.
Usually our calendar is always up to date. You have the best chance if you send your inquiries some times in advance and follow the yellow or green times in the calendar. Meals are partly included (when we are at home) and vegetarian and partly achieved by yourself.
For Workawayers who want to apply: write what you plan to do, why you are interested in Berlin, who you are, what you do. And: reliable, regular contact is very important for me. How else can I know if you keep your appointments?
Gardening from April to September: digging, remove weeds, clearing work, watering the garden, tidy up the garage etc.
Especially in summer: dogsitting (walk the dog when we are in holyday).
Gardening from October to November: Rake up the leaves, rerange the compost, pruning, transplant plants
Working in a garden means: you are working with earth and you will work outside - so please bring with you suitable shoes, gloves and clothes.
Sometimes I'm happy to receive help with learning Standard Arabic or for work on Instagram - but for both I have very specific ideas that we would have to discuss.
From November to March: no need
We don't have enough room for more than one workawayer.

Accommodation
Small room in the first floor, bathroom to share, 20 min to city center with tube.
Food will be provided but not full board all the time. I don't eat meat and I don't touch/cook it. So if I'm cooking its vegtarian, if my husband is cooking with meat :-)
