    Description

We are building an ecologically regenerative, off-grid living space nestled in the rolling forested hills of the beautiful Banská Štiavnica region. Our project is still in its early stages, as we work toward creating a diverse and resilient farm, as well as welcoming space for retreat and education focused on regenerative living.

Our approach is guided by holistic frameworks such as permaculture, holistic management, keyline design, and silvopasture. The farm is already home to a lively mix of animals—cows, sheep, ducks, geese, hens, rabbits, as well as our friendly dogs and cats—and we’re cultivating gardens, fruit and nut trees to support our food needs.

    Current projects include:

    Natural stone and wood construction
    Gardening and planting
    Fencing
    Animal care
    Food preparation and cooking
Setting up water systems and improving road access
Cleaning, firewood preparation, and general farm maintenance
Supporting our online presence and documenting regenerative practices
Processing our organic produce (milk, plants, meat, eggs) for personal use

We offer access to the internet and a hot shower—both of which we’re proud to have set up off-grid!

    Getting here:
You can find us by searching for Dolinka pri Štiavnici on online maps.
The nearest village is Kozelník, which is reachable by both bus and train.

    OUR WORLDVIEW
    We recognise these fundamental truths:

    1. Humans are not separate from nature; we are part of an interconnected web of life, wholly dependent on the planet’s life-supporting processes.
    2. Disrupting these processes beyond their ability to regenerate leads to self-destruction.
    3. The survival of humanity—and countless other species—depends on becoming regenerative rather than destructive agents within the living system.
    4. We become regenerative by embracing our role as part of the living system that supports us and by designing our lives around principles that renew and revitalise it.

    OUR VISION
A world where people embrace a regenerative lifestyle—creating and celebrating life in ways that renew and revitalise the living systems around them.

    OUR MISSION
To advance the regenerative (r)evolution by inspiring and empowering people to become healthy, resilient, self-reliant, and ecologically regenerative local producers—rather than dependent consumers.

    HOW WE GET THERE
    We run:

    1. A centre for education, retreats, and communal living that fosters learning, networking, and collaboration to spark regenerative transitions locally and globally.
    2. An ecologically diverse farm and production hub grounded in regenerative design principles.

We're setting up an eco-project in a beautiful setting near town Banská Štiavnica. The project is in an early stage and the living standard is basic, though pure, natural and soothing to the soul. The water is from the spring. Solar energy system is modest but is getting improved. Dry toilet in place. There are goats, ducks, geese, a dog and a cat. There will be a bunch of projects this year: water and access works based on a permaculture design, building renovations, camping style toilet and shower facilities... There is also plenty of room for your own creativity, the possibilities are countless for every lover of living in harmony with nature:)

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Yurt, caravans, shared room in the house, sleeping spaces in the attic

All food expenses are covered (+ a couple of beers for good measure depending on one's preferences:) Most of the food gets sourced from the local producers and doesn't travel more than 1km from farm to table: above all honey, eggs, milk, cheese, lamb, beef and wild game. Vegetables and carbohydrates are sourced from local shops. (Given we live in a Carpathian climate, regenerative production is most naturally achieved in synergy with animals).
