Description
We are a french couple, Sophie and Julien with our son Tom who is 2.5years old.
We have been living in New Zealand for 7 years. Julien is a builder, carpenter and I am a food engineer/coffee roaster.
We have been doing volunteers job through workaway in the past and we loved our experiences. We now would like to host people from all over the place and share our experience with them.Types of help and learning opportunities

We are looking for people to help us with our family daily life. This can mean maintaining our house: landscaping, gardening, painting but also helping with preparing meals, buildings little project.
We are currently looking for painters to help us painting the cladding of our house for the month of November.Languages

We offer you a room with your own bathroom and your own space. In this little unit situated in the first level of our house you will have also TV and a space to cook your own breakfast and make you a coffee, tea, etc,...
We will provide your breakfast and dinner. We will take turn to cook dinner. We cook two meals when you cook one.
We have cute little chickens, so you will eat fresh eggs everyday.
We do not provide the meals during the days off.What else ...
We are situated in one of the most touristy town of the north island, Taupo. During your time off there is plenty of things to visit and do. You can explore different forests biking, or walking, climb up the Tauhara for a magnificent view at the top, do some river floating in a very clear blue rivers, go fishing, enjoy a swim in the lake during the sunset,...
We are close to the well known rock climbing site of Kawakawa.
We are only at 1h15 driving from Tongariro Crossing, a famous hike through active volcano. This hike is registered at the UNESCO.
We are only 2h from the coast so during your 2 days off you can easily drive to the coast.
We do have kayaks that you can use on your free time to explore the lake and the river.A little more information
