My name is Fiona, and on behalf of the entire family here at the hostel, we welcome you to Myanmar, to Inle Lake, and to our home.
We opened in Novemer 2015, to foster a community of safety, joy, and discovery; a “home away from home” where anyone from around the world can comfortably relax, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
Use one of our complimentary bikes to explore the local Shan villages, discover the beauty of Inle Lake during a boat tour, enjoy sunset happy hour on our rooftop lounge, and then retreat into one of our spacious and comfortable capsule-style beds, which feature privacy curtains, lockers, power outlets and reading lights.
We can't wait to welcome you!
Helping with Tourists
Help with Computers / internet
We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic and fun volunteers who are willing to help us here in beautiful Nyaung Shwe, Myanmar.
Duties range from taking care of website updating, advertising, organizing activities for our guests, teaching yoga, designing wall paintings, helping us out with language and computer issues (teaching the staff) and overall: making sure our guests have a great time.
If you think you can help us out with any of these tasks, and you are enthusiastic to live and experience the Burmese life around Inle Lake for some time, please message me.
Mixed dorm room bed.
There are many great activities to do around Nyaung Shwe and the rest of Inle Lake.
You can do a boat tour around the lake, take a bicycle and visit the mountain winery, the tofu village, the cave or any other place of interest. Close to our hostel is an orphanage which you can visit. Furthermore, you can learn about our local customs and our delicious local cuisine. Finally, we can help you plan your trip to the rest of Myanmar. (We offer two way bus ticket per month).
