    Description

We are a happy family, actually of 4 but in August of 5, with a positive attitude to life, which values respectful cooperation. Our household is completely vegetarian and as much as possible organic and regional. We are cosmopolitan and look forward to mutual input. Before we bought our house, we lived in a city bus that we had built ourselves, as well as on trailer sites and alternative communities. Konny originally comes from the Swabian Alp and Pia was born in northern Germany on the North Sea. We've both been around the world, but we've also lived in cities like Hamburg and Berlin. We look forward to skill exchanges of any kind and a good time together.

We, Pia 33 years old (occupational therapist), Kornelius 30 years old (polymechanic and roofer), Nelyo 4 years old, Felix 2 years old and upcoming baby in the middle of June have fulfilled our dream of a house with self-sufficiency possibilities in Stühlingen.

The house has 5 floors, was built in 1680 and is a listed half-timbered house. It is currently being completely renovated on the first and second floors. We live on the top 3 floors at the moment. Over the week one of us is always there for the children, the other part is alone on the construction site, which makes progress slow and boring on the other hand. That's why we're looking for carpenters, bricklayers, etc. who can give us a helping hand.
The 3000 qm garden was totally wild when we bought the house. Now the biggest works are done and we are planting the first time, since we bought the house.

We are a smoke/alcohol and drug free household. The Volunteers can smoke outside, we wish that you use alcohol consciously and our home is therefore not suitable for parties.

We do not welcome racism, sexism or homophobia of any kind.

Pia did a permaculture design curse six years ago. Now she is the first time gardening practically with all 5 zones. May you can learn something from her, or she from you? What she is also able to teach about is a bit of micro and macro macrame, Hula Hoop dancing, Yoga and medicinal plants.

Kornelius knows a lot of construction with wood- and metalwork. He is a very solution-oriented person.

Our Kids are very open, so you´ll learn german very fast and in between.

We would also offer you to bring you to nice spots on sundays, if you don`t have a driver license.

Besides we are both practicing non-violent communication as much es we can.

We need to tell you, that our house has very small walls. So if you don't like to wear oropax you'll might be awake at 6:30 by our children.
