    Description

The Regeneration Base Camp is an exciting project for us. We are guided by holistic management and permaculture principles in stewarding a Farm, Ranch, Campground, and Event Center in the beautiful Scott Valley of Northern California. The Scott River runs through the land as does Taylor creek. There are approx 100 acres of meadows, 10 acres of cottonwoods, and 210 acres of conifer forest. We manage our own irrigation systems using ditches and canals built in the 1860s. There are original cabins and an old RV park on the land. There is lots of work to do in all departments and we would love to have your help in exchange for a camp or rv site, and some shared meals.

Our mission is a joyful, healthy abundant future through imaginative empowerment. We want to share our experience and learn from yours.

Currently we manage a herd of 18 yaks, 12 goats and sheep, 30 laying hens and a guardian dog. These animals healthy lives are also making the soil healthier because we move them constantly, providing just the right amount of animal impact and rest on the land. We move electric netting on a daily basis.

At the moment we are planting gardens, building structures and generally beautifying the rv park that we have brought to life as a campground and upcoming event center.

    Our team consists of:

    Risa - queensland heeler princess
Sean Kriletich, lifelong beekeeper, farmer, rancher and holistic management consultant.
Ysabel Uribe - physiology, herbs, nourisment, yoga, web-design.
Ben Richards - metal fabrication, woodworking

Please don't hesitate to contact us. We will get right back to you with more information.

Up until last year, I was listed here and on other work trade sites for a 20 year land stewardship project in California's Sierra Foothills. This is still operational but we are putting most of our energy into this new and expanded experience. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing if we can share some learning together.
