Description
Hello! I'm Emilie, I'm 43, I'm French, and I've been living in the US for 13 years.
I started to volunteer when I was traveling the world with my boyfriend 20 years (now husband, and father of our 2 kids!). We helped harvest rice in a farm in Japan, renovate a school in India, drive a library bus in Indonesia!
Now that I get to travel and volunteer with my kids (9 and 12 years old), we do things more local. So far, we have volunteered in a bird rescue center, in a permaculture farm, in an animal sanctuary and in a school. Anywhere we go, we enjoy spending time with people of all ages, listening to their stories, and helping as much as we can. It is so enriching to learn from others by doing things with them, and experiencing their lifestyles.
What brings us happiness is being in nature, immersed in our beautiful world!

I am French but live in the US. I have been homeschooling my kids for 5 years, teaching them French and English, so I am used to play with languages. My kids and I taught English to kids in a school in Costa Rica, and we did it through games and play.

I can follow any directions, and I love to learn new things. I can do gardening, take care of animals, play/teach children, renovate furniture, paint, cook, sew, clean, sand, saw, fix, etc. I love to get dirty and I enjoy physical work.
