Hi, we are a friendly family from Austin, TX. We live on a miniature hobby farm in town that we're in the process of converting to a bed and breakfast, and own a vacation rental property on the Austin lakefront. We're getting started on a lot of creative building projects and small renovations, and would love some extra help.
We enjoy meeting people from all over! We have a awesome black Lab names Lucky and farm animal pets ready to greet you!

We are continuing work converting our 8 acre urban farm into an 1800's pioneer style B&B including rebuilding the barn, adding rough cut cedar posts and beams everywhere, building more cable bridges over the creeks, improving our ponds and wilderness trails and constructing more pens for quail, duck, sheep, miniature horses and rabbits.
Also, there's daily care for animals, work on the winter crops.
We like to work 2-3 hours in the morning and then have a giant breakfast. After that you can take the day off to do whatever you like in Austin.
We are hoping to begin hosting in April
Depending on the project and availability you can stay at our farm in town - either our cozy cabin in the woods or attached suite at the main house. We provide a hearty breakfast each day. You'll have a kitchenette to use for other meals.
Austin has a great many things to offer - great parks, hike and bike trails, a plethora of music venues, good eats at local restaurants, artistic, hip vibe. We can loan you bikes anytime so you can get around town easily.
