Description
Motivated by a simplistic lifestyle in close proximity to nature, valuing time spent connecting with people and prioritizing these things over monetary gain. Attempting to live slowly in a fast paced technological world. Generally finding happiness in new experiences, new knowledge, and new relationships.
I'm currently living in Victoria, British Columbia and have been studying acupuncture and herbal medicine for the past 5 years. Before that, I was traveling throughout Central America and Asia working on different farms.
In between my studies I've worked a different array of jobs from landscaping to construction, to the service industry, and childcare.

Zonia is an absolute legend. She worked behind reception for three and a half months. She brought character and energy here, and really connected with the rest of the volunteers and guests. We would be happy to have Zonia back any time, and would definitely recommend her to other Workaway hosts.

Zonia stayed with us for a month and helped us out with the kids in exchange for a room and food. She's great with kids and so easy to get along with. She also has a maturity about her that I rarely find in people twice her age. I would highly recommend her.
