Hello all! My name is Sofia, I'm 28 years old, and I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico USA. I'm a dual EU (Spain) - US citizen who speaks English, Spanish, and French - I am looking to practice my Spanish and French more (depending on my host and destination). I finished my MBA in August, after completing a Bachelor's in Sustainability and French. I worked in business and economic research until August as well. I love the outdoors, meeting new people, learning languages, discovering new cultures, gastronomy, and animals.

I have worked for a few hosts here on workaway in France and Spain, as well as some WWOOF farms in the U.S. I have experience with eco-projects, mostly gardening, farming, and landscaping, but some other maintenance and construction projects too. My other work experience includes forestry (trail construction/maintenance, fire cleanup), animal care, sales and customer service, writing and editing, and research.

I am returning to workaway to continue to learn as well as provide my help and knowledge to those who need it. I am especially interested in helping hosts who are running a business - ecotourism, gites, retreats, restaurants, hostels, breweries, vineyards, or farms with the intent to sell their products (and more). I would like to learn from my hosts and provide my own knowledge and experience as far as business management goes. Obviously, I love the outdoors and welcome the opportunity to work outside as a part of my experience, as I have in the past. I am also happy to provide translation, writing, editing, and design help if it is wanted.

Me llamo Sofía, tengo 28 años, y soy de Albuquerque, Nuevo México, EE. UU. Soy ciudadano de la UE (España) y de los EE. UU. Hablo inglés, español y francés - y quiero practicar hablar español más.. Terminé mi MBA (master's en administracion de negocios/empresas) en agosto, después de completar una carrera (bachelor's) en Sostenibilidad y Francés. También trabajé en investigación comercial y económica hasta agosto. Me encanta el aire libre, conocer gente nueva, aprender idiomas, descubrir nuevas culturas, la gastronomía y los animales.

He trabajado para algunos anfitrioneses aquí en Workaway en Francia y España, así como en algunas granjas WWOOF en los EE. UU. Tengo experiencia en proyectos ecológicos, principalmente en jardinería, agricultura y paisajismo, pero también en otros proyectos de mantenimiento y construcción. Mi otra experiencia laboral incluye la silvicultura (construcción/mantenimiento de senderos, limpieza despues de incendios), cuidado de animales, ventas y servicio al cliente, redacción y edición e investigación.

Regreso a workaway para seguir aprendiendo y a ofrezer mi ayuda y conocimiento a quienes lo necesitan. Estoy especialmente interesada en ayudar a los anfitriones que tienen un negocio: ecoturismo, casas rurales, retiros, restaurantes, hostales, ventas, cervecerías, viñedos o granjas con la intención de vender sus productos (y más). Me gustaría aprender de mis anfitriones y aportar mi propio conocimiento y experiencia en lo que respecta a la gestión empresarial. Bonjour à tous! Je m'appelle Sofia, j'ai 28 ans et je viens d'Albuquerque, au Nouveau-Mexique, aux États-Unis. Je suis un double citoyen (UE et États-Unis) qui parle anglais, espagnol et français (je cherche à pratiquer parler français). J'ai terminé mon MBA (master's en administration des affaires/entreprises) en août, après avoir terminé un bachelor's en développement durable/durabilité et en français. J'ai également travaillé dans la recherche commerciale et économique jusqu'en août. J'aime le plein air, rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, apprendre des langues, découvrir de nouvelles cultures, la gastronomie et les animaux.

J'ai travaillé pour quelques hôtes ici en France et en Espagne, ainsi que dans certaines fermes WWOOF aux États-Unis.
