Hello there !
My name is Guillaume but most of the time you can say Gio as it can be hard to pronounce 😄
I'm a French man from Brittany, in travel around Europe and I'm here mainly for the purpose of meeting and exchanging with new people. I'm an open-minded and easy going person and I like to hear stories from everybody, different cultures and different ways of living. We learn from each other every day ! So that's why I chose to travel with Workaway :)

I'm back into travelling after 5 years in Swedish Lapland where I was in charge of a camp called "Reindeer Lodge".
I loved it but the call of travelling was too strong so here I am again ! :)

My goal in life is to get as close as possible of the 100% self sufficiency so I'm planning to open a garden/cafe/animal shelter later on when I will find the magic spot ! 😊

I've been working in lots of different domains :
- Manager of a hotel (booking/ordering/staff/kitchen/bar... Etc)
- Team manager in a wedding restaurants
- Team manager in a big beer pub
- Guide in winter activities in Lapland (snowmobiling /Northern lights/reindeer sledding... Etc)

- Waiter a la carte
- Electricity projects
- Small constructions
- Hotel reception/cleaning
- Animal care
- Videomaker
- Farming
- Gardening

But I'm willing to learn about all kinds of work you can offer !

Besides that, I've studied electricity for 4 years so I can help you with that.
I can also be creative if you give me the opportunity/time to do so.
I like to come up with some improvement ideas to make life easier 😊
I'm also very interested in everything related to magnetism and its energies. I learned from my father who is a healer in Brittany how to use a pendulum and the energy from my hands, for the future purpose to also help and heal people in need during my trips. I'm also a dowsing apprentice if you need help to look for water wells or improve the energy of your house.
I also like to meditate once in a while. I've done the Vipassanna 10 days retreat which was an awesome experience.
