Hello! My name is Jayna. I love to travel and explore new places - especially places with beautiful nature like lakes, mountains, and canyons. Although I live in a big city, I’m super interested in learning to grow my own food. This summer I grew a few red bell peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers in my little garden!

I’ve got a background in civil engineering, work in building science, and am pretty handy with tools. And what I don’t know, I can learn! I’m comfortable trying new things and I’m willing to put in the work to get things done. I like also like to garden and have been getting more into that this past season.

In my free time, I love hanging out with friends, playing card and board games, cross-stitch and embroidery, walks by the lake, and dinner parties. When I travel, I like to try new foods, explore new towns and cities, and go on hikes.

It was a pleasure to host Jayna for a couple of weeks at my place in Buckhorn. She is very smart and does an excellent job at whatever is asked of her. I had a great time at Sean's. I was given a list of tasks to do around the house and property each day that could include cleaning, organizing, gardening, and weeding. Learned and experienced off-grid living, and enjoyed my time away from the city. I worked from about 8am to 1pm and then had the rest of the day off to hang out or explore the area.… read more
