Hi, I’m Adrien, a 24-year-old Swiss who's cycling around New Zealand for a few months!

After finishing my bachelor's degree in environmental sciences last summer, I decided to leave Switzerland for New Zealand. My plan is to discover this beautiful country by traveling on my bike. I’ve already crossed the two main islands, from Cape Reinga to Bluff, and I’m now on my way back to Auckland. It has been such an amazing experience so far!

I’m a very active person and love spending time outdoors, discovering new landscapes. In Switzerland, I spend most of my free time in the mountains, climbing, skiing, or running. I also really enjoy working outdoors, wich I did during one year for my civil service.

I’m a positive, sociable, and curious person who enjoys meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning new skills. If you’re looking for someone motivated, ready to help, and happy to share good experiences, I would be happy to join you!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have practical experience in nature conservation and landscape maintenance from my civil service in Switzerland. I’ve gained some experience using tools like chainsaws and brush cutters for tasks such as trail clearing, forest maintenance, and managing invasive species.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, with a focus on forestry.

I have also completed a training to assist in guiding groups of young people on ski touring and rock climbing outings, and I have had the opportunity to assist on several outings with the Swiss Alpine Club.

Fluent in French and German, with good conversational English. I’m physically fit and comfortable with outdoor working in all conditions.
