Maria Teresa and Victor are very uncomplicate friendly and warm hearted persons which I can heartily recommend as Workaways.
When I was returning from work, I found my house cleaned properly, they cooked delicious meals and we had interesting conversations. Victor took lovely pictures from my place. They are open to help with different works.

We spent 3 weeks with Veronika, and really were 3 incredible weeks. She invited us to a beautiful place called Rheinfall and spent a great afternoon there. One day we met her friendly daughter, shared many stories about our travels and tried the Raclette (very exquisite). She also prepared delicious meals for us and made a special dinner in our
… read more last day in her house. We really recommend visiting and meeting Veronika, because she is a wonderful and charming person. We thank her very much for hosting us, spending time with us and talking about life. In late October of 2020 I reached out to Veronika on the Workaway website and she welcomed me over for an interview so that we could test out my aptness as a Francophone companion. She gave me a walking tour of the neighbourhood, invited me for a delicious little meal, and after an additional brief culturally themed stop in Winterthur I can say
… read more that she helped me to discover a place that I would very much like to consider visiting again if the opportunity to spend more time in Switzerland should arise. I have ideas about creating a "fertility garden" theme under her auspices, and know that she is particularly gifted in subject areas of great interest to me including gardening, music, language and healing arts. While I have not yet completed an official Workaway stay, we took a first step towards becoming friends, and it was fortunate for me since I finally had to leave Switzerland under difficult circumstances after so many long months of being unable to travel. I had a lovely time with Sophie.
Sophie is a very interesting, empathetic, humorous, natural and spiritual person.
She turned the garden terrasse in a very lovely place. I liked her inspiring ideas for example to produce bee wraps or cook various of vegetarian food.
We could talk about different themes of live in deep way. And we laughed a

My goal to start to speak French was supported by Sophie in a very nice way.
She could explain me specialities of the language, she was patient with my searching for sentences. And at least I found as a good- bye present beautiful poems hidden in different places of my house.

Such a wonderful experience with Veronika! I got the chance to spend 2 weeks in her cosy and warm flat in an old farm in Tagelswangen, and share with her a lot. Veronika is very flexible, open minded, kind hearted, smart, generous and fun. She is a free spirit artist, connected to Earth and Sky. Her door is open to friends, so you will also
… read more probably meet local people and learn a bit of Switzerdütsch during your stay! Her wish is to improve her level of French and she joyfully speaks and catch opportunities to learn basic things as well as complex tricky ones. Every day is different at Veronika's and I really enjoyed sharing with her various activities. Her garden will be happy to get some care and there are many options if you are a bit creative, in and out the house. I also got time to rest, visit the surroundings and more.
