I stayed on the farm for just under two weeks and had a great time! As i expressed previously to arriving that I enjoy cooking, the hosts agreed to let me cook lunch and dinner for all the volunteers daily and they gave me the freedom to cook whatever I wanted with the ingredients available. I was able to use any of the plentiful variety of fresh vegetables straight from the farm which was amazing! I also got to do a bit of farm work including vegetable picking and tomato/cucumber trellising which I enjoyed. For accomodation I was offered a choice between the dorm room or a tent outside, which were both clean and nice. Additionally, we had an outing to the Black Sea one day which was fun, thank you Alex!!

We had a wonderful time with Ida, Martin, and Hugo! They are incredibly warm-hearted and kind. The place is beautiful, nestled in the woods, perfect for reconnecting with nature and enjoying the silence. Thank you for everything!

Trivelig og blid dame, som egentlig var her alt for kort tid. Men tatt i betraktning den korte ferien som hun hadde til rådighet, så viste jeg jo det på forhand. Er flink og gjør oppgavene prikkfritt og ser ut til å like det. Hun var her et knapt døgn

Volunteering here feels like being on a holiday as the place is so beautiful and relaxing. Thanks to Petr, Anna, Dima and Nikita for a great time and my first introduction to the beautiful country that is Georgia! During my time there I did a bit of cleaning and mostly cooking for the team. I really appreciate being given the freedom to be creative in the kitchen and the use of so many delicious ingredients. I hope one day to come back as a guest!! I will miss the cats a lot, especially Tilda (even if she is grumpy sometimes). Best wishes to you all!

It was a wonderful Workaway experience staying at Thierry 's farm and helping out in the honey factory. This was my first Workaway experience and I couldn't have asked for a better start ✨ Thierry is very kind, welcoming and accomodating person and communication was really easy! He made sure we were never hungry :) The best part was working together and sharing meals together with everyone including Mara, Tiffany, Cian, and Berton. I truly enjoyed spending time with others and cooking together. Although my stay was short I really appreciate the opportunity to I received to connect with people, nature and farm life. Farm itself is in a beautiful location in Murainette, surrounded by mountains, beautiful view, and going to the honey factory in the other side of the city was another memorable experience. Thank you very much, Thierry and it was truly a nice experience 😊

Staying with this wonderful family in Graz was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my journey. From the very first day, they made me feel like a part of their family. They were so kind and attentive, taking into account all of my food preferences and making sure I always felt comfortable and welcome. What touched me most was their generosity and warm-heartedness — they not only shared their home but also their culture. They invited me to a concert, which became such a special memory for me. I am deeply grateful for their moral support and for the way they cared about me like one of their own. I feel very lucky to have met such amazing people, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants to experience true kindness, cultural exchange, and family warmth through Workaway🤝

Sanna was a great help to us in the garden during her three-week stay. She has a good work ethic, can work independently, is curious, and took the initiative to look for ways to improve our rose care methods. The heatwave did not deter her from working in the garden; she adjusted her work hours to the early morning and evening. During her time here, she has been responsible for a wide range of tasks. These included, for example, weeding the labyrinth and paths, pruning roses, and picking several kilos of different berries for marmalade making. We learned a lot about Finnish culture while she improved her German. It was a very enriching cultural exchange for everyone.

It was my pleasure to host this young man. Very easy going, hands on mentality. Mixed well with other helpers, other ages. Likes to try new things and learns quickly. Helped me with a lot of different tasks. Some outside wall painting, small gardenwall bricklaying, gardening, cleaning and so on. I can recommend him to anyone. Feel free to drop by when in the area! Melyssa is a gentle, educate and beautiful person, she helped in every task and shared her thoughts and graphic skill with us! She also helped in an almost impossible task to complete a puzzle with Nuri. Wishing her a nice stay back home in Canada and hopefully she'll come back to visit us in the near future 🙏. Chris &Andrew are very kind and wellcoming hosts. Their house is situated in a small hamlet surrounded by woods and fields. Cosy, comfortable accomodation in a separate part of the house, with private bathroom and an extra space with tv. , everything neet and clean. Plenty of food for any taste, fresh vegetables, fruits, chestnuts ... in the garden. Chris and Andrew were always attentive to provide everything needed. We worked together in the garden, cleaning, pruning... made many excursions, went for walks on beautiful beaches. A very nice place for nature-loving persons. Thank you very much Chris &Andrew!

Excellent stay with Katia, Greg and the children ! We absolutely loved to meet this family, we felt free to choose how we'd like to help them around the house. The room we stayed in and the bathroom were perfect! It's also very easy to talk to them and fit in. The kids are really smart and affectionate! It's been a pleasure, merci encore !

Our stay in beautiful Kalamata with Maria and Heather was amazing. From the beginning they both made us feel so welcome and comfortable in their home. Our task for our stay was mostly to clear and get on top of the gardening in their beautiful, extensive gardens around the house - Maria made it really easy with organising which hours we worked and what she wanted done. We really enjoyed the work as it was a satisfying process and we were doing different things every couple of days :) They provided such delicious food at every meal of the day, and it was lovely being able to exchange recipes and cook for them a couple of the nights! We had such a lovely time playing games and chatting on the terrace after meals too :) Ocean, Skye and Purdi have got a special place in our hearts, it was lovely having some sweet little furry friends around xx Both Maria and Heather were so helpful in recommending places to go and things to do in our free time, and they were both very generous with giving us lifts since neither of us drive. On a whole we had such a wonderful stay with them, Maria was an amazing host!! we will definitely be back in the future Xx

Annick and Thierry were my first Workaway and I would highly recommend them. I went specifically to immerse myself in speaking French for which they were ideal - thank you! I had such a wonderful week spent in their company, they are great fun to be around, generous with their time and taught me a lot about country life in Le Dauphiné. The work was simple gardening, regular housework, making jam, painting (sorry about your shirt Annick 🫣!) it was all very well organised so very easy to slot into their lives and the work. They included me in meeting their friends and family which was so lovely . Annick, her daughter and I went to hear la brame du cerf which was incredible, we had lots of walks in the beautiful countryside collecting mushrooms (I was hopeless!) and chestnuts and admiring Le Mont Blanc. The caravan was very comfortable, the weather was cold to begin with but a heater cosied it up considerably. I hope we can stay in touch! Thank you again x

Nikos is just an amazing host - I had the best time at his Place!! It is in a beautiful location close to the sea and Nikos and Orpheous are pros in hospitality. I also really enjoyed teaching Nikos, he is a very good student. We watched movies, went to concerts and had great food. I call this a premium-workaway💓💓 Thank you Nikos

Gio was a very pleasant, happy, enthusiastic, communicative guy. It was great sharing green energy concepts and stories with such a positive, nice person. Gio and I worked on some minor painting, carpentry, cleaning and gardening. Gio was enthusiastic to learn and get hands on. Thanks Gio, happy and safe travels and thanks.

Nicholas and tracy helped us a lot as a phsically and sipirutally.. they are hard workers and has a diciplines.. everymorning they collected figs and they helped also babycare advice and this is definetly what I need.. I also work with nicholas spirutual session he is very good.. we feel so lucky to meet with them.. They are precious and unforgettable.. thank you for all.. hope see ypu again

Paris is such an amazing individual, and wise beyond her years. She was an ideal guest, a quick learner and a very hard worker. We all enjoyed her stay, as she fit right in -- which was why we were so sad to see her go! Always up for a good time and a bit of fun, Paris has a great attitude and positive approach to life, which is infectious. Luna adored her (as did we all) and we had many great meals and good times together, on and off the clock. It would be a real treat to see her again, and you'll be treated if she visits you!
