Dominik was a huge support to the team he was working with. He was active and very collaborative, always willing to help even in his free time. He connected well with his teammates, participating in exercise sessions with Johana and helping with activities with guests. Thank you very much, Dominik, for your support!

There's only so much love you have to give and receive, until you come here. Kalen, Clarissa, El took care of me like family. I felt blessed to have had the opportunity to come and help for a month or so, and my only regret is not staying longer. For the love farm is a little sliver of heaven, with turkeys, goats, chickens, and Daisy, the sweetest golden you'll ever meet. Thank you for having me. God bless you all.

Simon and Aelaïg spent a week with us and we’ve managed to do quite a lot. They helped us watering plants and trees, weeding out grass around our gardens and trees, cleaning a chicken coop and planting trees, seedlings, strawberries and seeds. We dug out and moved some rocks to use them as protective edges around our plants and trees. Following our instructions well, Simon and Aelaïg have shown to be fast learners. They helped us with chores and one night they made a delicious dinner. We’ve also learnt a new card game (having origins in Brittany, France), losing first, but scoring some games later on 🙂 We can recommend Simon and Aelaïg and we would be happy if they visit us again.

This was our first stop in Australia and first workaway and exceeded our expectations a lot! We met so many great people and ended up staying longer since this was such a unique experience. Shane really created a little paradise there. The tasks are very reasonable too for free accomodation and food. Would definitely want to come back some day!

We had a wonderful visit with Aline. She was referred to us by a prior Guest and what they say is true, good people associate with good people. She arrived at a busy time for us and was a great help. Thank you Aline and come again soon!

Märta is an absolute star! 🌟 What a great help she was at our place—she embraced every task with enthusiasm, and even when a couple weren’t her favourites, she rolled up her sleeves and got on with it. With a few more placements under her belt, I’m sure she’ll truly blossom into a pro. Would we have her back? In a heartbeat! Thank you, Märta, for all the energy and kindness you brought into our lives. (And yes—Marta the doeling is doing great!) 🐐💛

J'ai passé un très agréable moment chez Catherine et Hector, dans leur superbe ferme 'paraiso'. J'ai pu passer du temps avec les employés et leurs enfants adorables, m'occuper des poissons, plantes et graines. Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil et ces beaux moments partagés!!!

I had an amazing time volunteering here. Chris and Aleja are so lovely and made me feel very welcome. They were both so happy to answer any questions I had about their sustainable project and they taught me a lot. The seperate kitchen/ dormitory for volunteers was also very nice and the food they supplied/ Cooked for us was amazing. I had a great time here and would recommend this opportunity to all travellers. Thank you Chris and Aleja for an amazing two weeks.

I had an amazing time volunteering at this school for two weeks. The staff at the school were so welcoming and allowed me to experience lots of different classes and grades. The students are very motivated to continue to learn English and the experience of teaching them also greatly improved my Spanish. The school itself is in a beautiful part of the town, right next to a river and with great views of the mountains. I stayed in the school over night and I was provided with food and access to a kitchen that had everything I needed. Sebastian (the host) was incredible. He did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and welcome in the school. Outside of school, he made the effort to show me the city, introduce me to his friends/ family and help me really get to know the area. cannot recommend this opportunity highly enough to other travellers, wish I could've stayed longer!! Thank you for everything ❤️❤️

David was an excellent host, eccentric, funny, and wonderfully eclectic. We were swept up in amazing adventures and stories he shared, and it’s clear how passionate he is about the rainforest and creating a unique experience. This is perfect if you’re looking to step outside your comfort zone and try something different , also bonus points for comfortable beds and buying us ice cream 😋 Thank you

Jacob & Sarah, came for a week & stayed for 5. Hands down they have been the BEST workaways I’ve ever had. Great sense of humour, helpful & respectful in the house. Just an all round brilliant attitude to life. Total self starters with jobs. Willing to give anything a go from ringing, splitting & stacking wood to planting, pruning & helping friends. Your parents should be proud, ya turned out good. They cooked beautiful vegan food, always lit the fire & helped feed the lambs. Sarah was also amazing at spreadsheets & making a website for the campground. We are so grateful for all your help, we’ll think of you every time we fill the wheelbarrow! I couldn’t recommend Jacob & Sarah more highly, they are both truely awesome humans. Two sayings that have stuck with me from their stay “life is love” and “we’re here to make your life easier” You guys rock!

I volunteered at the hostel for 10 days and had a really great time! The family was super friendly and always made sure I was doing well. The hostel has a big, beautifully designed garden and there are also some dogs and cats around, which makes it feel even more like home. Half of the time I worked in the garden — for example, I built a bamboo fence — and the other half I helped at the reception, which was a nice change of pace. The food was always delicious! Breakfast and dinner were small meals, and for lunch Mercedes always cooked something really tasty. I would have loved to stay longer if I had had more time. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience!

Christian y toda su familia fueron unos excelentes anfitriones! El hospedaje es limpio, cómodo y prendimos la chimenea casi diario. De labores, ayudamos a restaurar y preparar partes del terreno haciendo acequias para riego, limpiando senderos y por el momento específico en el que llegamos nos tocó también ayudar a sus abuelitos a bajar la leche de las vacas y hacer queso. Esperamos que el proyecto de turismo ecológico, cuidado de caballos y todo lo que tiene Chris en mente avance y se materialice muy pronto. Recomendamos 👍🏽 Christian and his whole family were excellent hosts! The accommodation is clean, comfortable and we lit the fireplace almost every day. For work, we helped to restore and prepare parts of the land by making ditches for irrigation, cleaning paths and for the specific moment in which we arrived we also had to chance to help their grandparents to fetch the milk of the cows and make cheese. We hope that the ecological tourism project, horse care and everything Chris has in mind will advance and materialize very soon. Highly recommended 👍🏽

Katrin and Joshua were very helpful, completing a number of tasks to a high standard. Friendly, cheerful, capable and great communicators, we enjoyed our time together. My best volunteering experience ever here at Hotel Kartama. David, Luis, Blanc, and Rosa are super friendly and working with them is pleasant. The work is easy and not much time required, so I can explore many places at my free time. once again, this is a wonderful opportunity!

Wiji was with us for just over a week and was very helpful, completing a number of useful tasks. Wiji was always cheerful,communicated well and got along with the other Woofers. She was determined to complete each task to a high standard and we very much enjoyed her company. We hope she will visit again and wish her well with her NZ travels. Jon and Evelyn.

It was great to have Celeste with us, since she was always ready for supporting us in any of the tasks we were involved during her time with us, and always with strength and joy. We are happy to recommend Celeste for other projects since we are sure she will give all of her best!
