Jack of all trades here, and in the last 30 years worked in hotels, restaurants and I had my own farm for 5 years, till my Hudson Valley neighbor purchased it 2 years ago.
So with end of Covid I am planning to travel more again, and off to experience and willing to share into your life and culture.
Every few months I return to Hudson Valley to a friends house, and help with her small homestead, besides maintaining my rental property in Brooklyn.
When I travel I like to look for opportunities to learn and gain more experience in practical fields. Sharing solutions for better life, take ideas and solutions with me and leave some behind.

I am all-round person, and after working in hotel & restaurants for 15 years, I spent about 10 years organizing and helping to renovate old houses; for last 5 years I have been living on a farm in the New York's Hudson Valley
........and we hosted workawayers during our 2nd summer on the farm.
My neighbor bought my farm, and now more time to travel again.

Great experience and stay with Amanda, it was great to get to meet some of her neighbors and visit the local places, as she created a nice little community here in her village.
Loved her cooking and inspirations, so I stayed longer and in these 3 weeks I was able to work on some of her building projects.

Dominik stayed with us for two weeks and it was a real pleasure hosting him. He fullfilled every task self organized and to our complete satisfaction. Anne and Peter are great hosts, and located in an interesting area with easy connections.
I arrived and welcomed by friends and family.
I was able to work independently and hopefully created some good results.

Staying with Tere was great, and as I am person of short words, I can only agree with other comments here.
Tere was super flexible, her animals and friends are great to be around, and I spend an incredible month at her studio.
Hope able to return in the future, as myself working and assisting in reforestation projects.

Dominik is much more than a volunteer for me. He came to our land 7 years ago first , and we are friends since that time. He is really helpful and responsible. He helped us a lot in the farm in many ways.
I definitely recommend this lovely and talented volunteer to all hosts

Dominik was quick to settle in. He has a good amount maintenance experience and knowledge. He took to cleaning the gutters of 3 treehouses. He worked well with another guests as they teamed up for work and off work time. He organized areas and made them look better. I'm grateful to have had him stay with us.

Dominik has surprising knowledge and skills in the hospitality and agriculture areas. He helped much in both fields without asking him. I hope he returns since we are building a hostel on a farm and encourage DIY lifestyle there for people who want to step away from the Matrix.

Mots let me stay on very short notice, when I was coming from another workaway on Shikoku Island and via Imbari easy to reach him, and also easy to travel North via Fukuyama.

Spend great long week with Yuri, helping around house, as still areas to finish of her new guesthouse.
Nice guesthouse concept, energetic young owner with very good English.
Yuri showed me around historic fishing town, and i explored with her bicycle. Also i was able to help with guesthouse set-up, as in past I had a guesthouse in Thailand myself.

Dominik is an interesting, allround and easy going guy. He worked hard picking tons of apples in the rain for days, and he pressed hundreds of liters of apple juice with a very good mood. Great time at Tessa'a farm and also nearby farm of her boyfriend Jan-Hove (also on workaway); great place to stay, good company and well cared for during my 2 weeks, one week we picked apples and then we pressed then for cider.
