Hey,
I´m Tom and I´m 20 Years old and currently living in Cologne, Germany.
I grew up bilingual so i´m fluent in German and English.
I love travelling, physical work and learning new things.
I also like meeting new people and sharing stories or just having a good time together.
I also enjoy doing Photography and other Arts.
For me travelling through Workaway is the perfect balance between exploring new places, meeting people and learning new things!

In 2025 i've done 2 workaways, 3 weeks on a farm in norway helping mostly with gardening (planting, harvesting), chopping/sawing wood of general maintenance work on the farm like repairing/setting up fences etc.
also 3 weeks on samothraki a small greek island helping with regenerating their land and helping with gardening, building a stonehouse and various other things

In 2024 i volunteered for 6 weeks at heb hostel in the outer hebrides in scotland, where i did mostly housekeeping, reception work and some small repairments.

In 2023 i did 2 workaways, 3 weeks in finland helping in different areas for example restoring a boat and renovating a forest cabin. I have also spent 6 weeks in tenerife on a finca trying to achieve a sustainable lifestyle, there i helped out in the garden planting and harvesting vegetables, i also helped with building things and other projects.

I have experience in different areas because i attended a steiner school so i have completed various work experiences as part of my school, for example three weeks on a self-sustaining farm in France , a month working at a elementary school, 10 days in Italy for an art trip or 3 weeks bookbinding in Northern Germany
I've also worked with my father on multiple building projects.
